The location is excellent (right next to Hakodate Station), and the breakfast is absolutely superb. I highly recommend this accommodation. There's a significant difference between weekday and weekend rates, so it's even more highly recommended if you can stay when it's cheaper. I don't think there's a better location than this.

The hotel is located near the fish market, making it very convenient to go for a seafood rice bowl in the morning. The room is very comfortable and spacious, and I especially appreciated the Refa showerhead, as well as the induction cooktop and pot provided. Free parking is also available if you are driving.

Check-in and check-out were very convenient, and having a dedicated luggage storage space was extremely helpful. It's also very close to the station. The room was clean and tidy; the bathroom isn't large, but it has everything you need. The toiletries are fully provided, and the pillows were great to sleep on.

The hotel is right next to JR Hakodate Station. This time, our room not only had an ocean view but also overlooked the train station platforms, making it an ideal choice for railway enthusiasts. The breakfast was incredibly rich, featuring local specialties such as Yamakawa milk, seafood donburi, salt ramen, and Meiling coffee, and even included ice cream.

After staying at Hotel Global View Hakodate (formerly Hotel Paco) in Hakodate, I can only say this: the breakfast alone is completely worth making a special trip to stay here for a night! An overflowing all-you-can-eat seafood breakfast: The hotel offers Japanese and Western breakfast options (highly recommend the Japanese one!), with unlimited fresh seafood like salmon sashimi, Arctic surf clams, octopus, and sweet shrimp that you can load up as much as you want to create your very own seafood rice bowl right at the hotel! They even serve fresh Hokkaido milk and local specialty dishes, and the sheer abundance is easily a match for the Hakodate Morning Market. Location and transportation: It's about a 10-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station (or you can take the tram to Matsukazecho Station if you don't want to walk), and there is an airport limousine bus to and from Hakodate Airport right outside the door, making getting around very convenient.
