Things to do in Hanoi

Our guide Alex (Hiep) was good. We love all the spots (Bai Dinh - The largest complex of Buddhist temples in the country, Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex - 2 Hours boat ride, and Hang Múa - 500 steps to the peak for the panoramas of Tam Cốc valley.

I traveled to Hanoi this December and I visited the Lotte Aquarium World. It fulfilled some childhood dreams. If you have kids going to Vietnam or Hanoi, it is a must-visit to see the Aquarium World. They have a huge variety of fish that you cannot even see in manila Ocean Park. It is easier to redeem the voucher. All you have to do is show the QR code to the front desk, and then you are ready to go. They have a mermaid show, a magic show, and a sea lion show.

our tour guide is a young guy with good english and also funny. always smile. the pick up time to your hotel at old quarter is on time. the bus is good enough. i really dont like the lunch in restaurant their choice. it was my worst food on my visit in Vietnam

We had an amazing trip and wonderful hospitality from our tour guide Paul. He was very diligent in providing us with the right instructions and also the tips and especially fun facts about many Vietnam specific details. The interaction was extremely lively and engaging. The bus was excellent and so was the cruise. All staff members in the cruise were good. Appreciate Paul and his team for keeping us happy and entertained

Can't complain about anything. Out guide was the best with great information and sense of humor. They picked us up from our hotel and kept constant communication. The hikes made me traumatized with stairs, but it was an experience. If you do not want to go, they warn you as well and allows you to stay in the boat and chill. Met great people as well.

Having seen few puppet shows while growing up, this one was a different experience as water adds specific element and relatable to story telling. A must watch if you have time and consider opting first few rows as sitting in back rows may not give good experience when seeing small puppets. Kids friendly and they even provide extra cushion seat for younger kids. Better to book online as when we went the place was crowded and shows were already booked. Onle downside of booking online is that you can select the section but not the seats. Overall, a great show.

So glad I booked this. It was only $6 for a VIP ticket, I think, and I totally enjoyed it! The performance is also child-friendly. There is an English explanation projected on the screen so you won't really get confused about what is going on per act as the language of the performance is in Vietnamese. The theatre is located just across the lake and Apricot Hotel. It's walking distance to the Old Quarter Night Market so if you book the 6:30 p.m. show, you can just walk to the Night Market afterwards.

The experience was great! For the best view, I recommend sitting at the front of the bus on the left side for the lake view. Overall, I really had so much fun on this trip. I actually missed my 4:00 PM booking, but the staff were incredibly kind and allowed me to join the 5:30 PM ride, which, in my opinion, turned out even better.

The bus was spacious and in excellent condition. However, if you’re sitting on the second floor, be cautious of the wires and tree branches as the bus travels along the road for safety purposes. Overall, it was a pleasant trip for sightseeing.
