Tropical Day Cruise: Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba Island Tour

I'm from Korea, and I was debating between the Ha Long Bay tour and the Cat Ba Island + Lan Ha Bay tour. I'm so glad I chose this one! Since the scenery of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay is similar anyway, this tour that allowed me to visit Cat Ba Island was more appealing. And it was absolutely the right choice, 100%! Our tour guide, Trung, was incredibly kind and enthusiastic, guiding us with so much passion. The lunch buffet was excellent, and we had kayaking, a water slide, swimming, and even an exciting party time in Lan Ha Bay, haha! I had so much fun, I'm so happy. This tour is the best!!!

Our Lan Ha Bay day trip was absolutely unforgettable! The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning limestone karsts rising from the emerald sea. The cruise was well organized, the Vietnamese food onboard was delicious, and the sunset views were simply spectacular. A special thanks to our guide, Boby, who was energetic, friendly, and professional throughout the trip. He explained everything clearly, kept the itinerary running smoothly, and made the experience fun and enjoyable for everyone. The sunset party was the perfect ending to an amazing day. Beautiful scenery, great food, excellent service, and wonderful memories. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful day trip. It was a long day due to travel time there and back, but it was worth it. We had a great guide, and the transportation was well-organized and comfortable. The boat was excellent, with lunch, kayaking, swimming, and beautiful surroundings. The golf cart ride across the island to the cave and museum was also a lot of fun. It was nice that it was small-scale and not overly touristy.

Superb experience! The entire day was filled with fun and enjoyment. A special thanks to our guide for the excellent coordination and support throughout the trip. The speedboat ride was amazing (available at an additional charge). We also enjoyed kayaking and swimming, which made the experience even more memorable. The food was good, and everything was very well organized. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and beautifully planned. Highly recommended!

our Tour guide Zhung/Oliver was amazing. the whole itinerary and the way the company handled the itinerary was great. At first I was skeptical about potential cramming of a lot of things into one day. but trust me this tour is the perfect balance of covering a lot of things yet enjoying a wild heritage site. the company also took us to a spot where we barely saw any other boats. highly recommend these folks. the water activities was a nice touch. and the sunset party. everything was perfect. a great bang for the buck. and btw, I booked one day trip from Hanoi to LAN Ha Bay

Our tour guide「Tea」was very friendly and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole trip relaxing and enjoyable. Ha Long Bay is truly beautiful and definitely worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. The food on the cruise wasn’t luxurious, but it was tasty and great value for the price. The itinerary was well-organized and not rushed, making the whole day very enjoyable. The open-air shuttle to the cave was cool and comfortable, and the bus from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay was surprisingly luxurious with very comfortable sofa-style seats. Overall, this experience was well worth the price and highly recommended!

What a beautiful day it was. Value for money. Thank you Minh and team for being punctual, bringing a comfortable ride and a great sunset party. Everything was well organized and seamless as expected. Minh is a star and besides the sunset views he was the highlight.

Had a great time! The tour guides and staff were enthusiastic! Full day itinerary is very thought-out with a good pace. Just one thing should mention that once you get on the bought drinks are your own expense and that includes water. So I would recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle if you want to save a few bucks on water/drinks. Overall, it's definitely less touristy than Ha Long bay. I would highly recommend.

The tour guide pickup was punctual, and the timing and itinerary were as expected. The 13-hour day was quite intense, but the overall experience was enjoyable. Lan Ha Bay truly has fewer people, allowing for beautiful photos. Kayaking was a lot of fun, and we were the only cruise ship there, so the environment and atmosphere were great. The only part that was a bit confusing and boring was the museum visit on Cat Ba Island; everything else was quite good.
