Things to do in Hokkaido

This tour is worth it. We had a great experience seeing the Penguin’s walk, trying the Snow Mobile and taking photos at Ningle Terrace. Our guide Oscar explains everything in 3 languages English, Chinese and Japanese.

We join the group 42pax. We are late by around 10min. but the tour guide was very helpfull and wait for us. the zoo was the main attraction which definately the 5 star here. the other attraction was also awesome. Christmas Tree, Biei (lovery montainious curvature) and Snowmobile adventure was fun!. snowmobike is a bit higher cost but worth trying.. the downside. we were not allowed to take photo due to safety reason. however we had our group photo at stopover.

It was our first time to Hokkaido so this was great to give us a taste of the stunning scenery. The activity we loved the most was the snow mobile driving, We’ve never experienced anything like it, So much fun. 15000 yen cash for a single and 20000 yen for a double. You must do this activity! We visited lakes and a geothermal location however it was really cold. We had lots of fun.

We met up at Exist 31 Otari Station. It’s quite convenient to locate this point as we used the underground subway to walk through from Susukino Station. The first place was Arashiyama Zoo, the temperature there at around 10am was -13 degree. Please get prepare with the low temperature there. Overall it’s quite a good experience to use this one day trip. It’s very convenient and cozy and you don’t need to worry about the transportation at all. I will definitely purchase different day trip in future.

The experience was fantastic! The tour guide was always on time, which made everything run smoothly. Since it was an full-day tour with no break for lunch, I recommend packing plenty of snacks to stay energised. We all wished we had more time to explore each spot more leisurely. When we missed our tour on the first day, they immediately booked us for the next day without any hesitation, which we really appreciated.

Booked tours with Onodera-san as our guide twice in a row, so lucky!!!! The experience with the day tour was really great, saved a lot of effort and trouble! Learned about the different cultures and history of Hokkaido in the guide's gentle voice, and went to many beautiful places, seeing the real northern scenery. It was a real shock to us three kids from a city with no snow! Hokkaido is a very charming place, thank you Onodera-san for your attentive care, it really felt like being taken care of very well by a distant relative in a foreign country 🥹. I hope that when I come to Sapporo again, I can meet Easygo and Onodera-san again!

Went in winter at around sunset 3.30pm-ish so we’ll get to experience both daylight and night lights. There weren’t that many people around despite weekend but the queue to come back down is quiet long. There’s a cafe uphill where you can chill, and you’ll have to exchange Klook ticket but it’s pretty straight forward as you will pass thru the ticket counter to go to the elvator anyway.

Since it was a weekday, the waiting time was short. At first, there was fog, so I was worried I wouldn't see one of Hokkaido's three major night views, but the weather cleared up later, so I enjoyed it.
