Things to do in Kaohsiung

Hands down one of the best tours ive made in Taiwan. Tourguide Eric was so accomodating and despite his age, still keeps up with the challenge of trekking while explaining the history of Alishan. Also, he took very good care of the passengers who were motion sick and vomited during the long and winding drive. Alishan on the other hand was breath taking! Will definetly go back when have chance.

Shoushan Zoo's park design is fantastic, making it a great place for families to have fun even on hot summer days. The elevated skywalk connecting to indoor air-conditioned viewing rooms is especially convenient, allowing families to comfortably watch capybaras, alpacas, Formosan black bears, and other adorable animals in an air-conditioned environment. It's also a great place to take a break when you're tired of walking around. We recommend arriving early in the morning when the zoo opens because that's when the animals are most active, eating breakfast, looking for food, drinking water, and full of energy. They aren't hiding from the heat yet, so you can see all the animals in their full glory. In particular, the white tiger, Zhao Hai, will walk around in the morning as if he is strutting on a runway, which is very interesting. The zoo also offers a limited amount of free hay for feeding the lambs and other animals in the feeding area. In addition, there is a fairly large children's water play area with rinsing facilities near the park entrance. For dining, there are two restaurants serving burgers, fried food, set meals, drinks, and desserts with a minimum charge. With such affordable ticket prices and a comfortable layout, including Shoushan Zoo in your Kaohsiung itinerary is definitely worth it. This museum beautifully illustrates how Taiwan has developed into a hub for science and technology, providing a great perspective on its history and future. Some of the installations are quite interactive and enjoyable.

Bought the tickets in bundle of 3 persons is cheaper then buying 3 individual tickets. Exhibition is in Kaohsuing Taiwan. Easy to redeem, just to scan at the entrance to enter to exhibit. No videos or photos when watching the Doraemon videos. It is definitely a must go exhibit if you are a big fan of Doraemon. It is a dream come true event to attend and most important, bring back lots of childhood memories too!!!!🤣😂😍🥰

This is a wonderful museum of modern art. If there are no special exhibitions, allow about 1.5 hours for your visit. There's a cafe on the first floor where you can relax and enjoy the greenery. When I went, they were exhibiting the art of Yoshitaka Amano and Yoshitomo Nara. It was a very satisfying exhibition. The restaurant with the discount coupon is located to the right as you exit the B1 floor. It's a bit pricey, but delicious and relaxing. I recommend making a reservation if possible. It gets full quickly if you don't go right after it opens.

Such a lovely afternoon! great for the family who were visiting. we had afternoon tea at the top and got to enjoy the views as well as look around the old consulate and the temple next door! highly recommend !
