Things to do in Tainan

Love this place. I first thought it was only an art museum, but they also have other exhibitions like animals, armory, etc. Too bad I couldn't get to see the pharaoh one as it wasn't open when I went.

This was my first time visiting Wanpi World with my family to see the animals. The park ticket price is quite expensive, but it's well-maintained. The animals live comfortably inside and you can get very close to them, unlike typical municipal zoos. Seeing the peacocks wandering around, the environment and the animals' bodies are kept clean. You can see that the conservationists and medical staff are dedicated to the animals and take care of their health. The cleaning staff also work hard. There are also amusement facilities for children to burn off energy. The drinks are very expensive, and I hope the ticket discount for consumption can be increased.

I enjoy car camping trips, and whenever I go to a place, I always like to soak in the local hot springs. I've soaked in many hot springs in Guanziling, but last week I accidentally discovered the five-star hot spring environment at Hushan Hot Spring. It was the first time in Taiwan that I've experienced such a high-quality public hot spring bath. The space is large, the environment is elegant, and I also tried bedrock bathing for the first time, which was really great.

Extremely accessible with the train getting here from Tainan. Very wonderful concept and buildings are fun to explore. For English speakers use translations apps at the gate but otherwise extremely seamless and worthwhile experience.

The activity was fun, with explanations provided throughout, allowing us to learn about the diverse mangrove ecosystem in Taiwan, including fiddler crabs, fish, and various trees. It was very hot and sunny, so I recommend going later in the day to avoid feeling like you're being roasted.

Currently under renovation! Ease of booking on Klook: I was able to book tickets immediately, which was great because I could decide to go during my trip! Facility: The building itself is small, but it was easy to navigate. Unfortunately, my visit coincided with a Japanese tour group, and it was tough because they occupied the small space. After they left, I was able to relax and enjoy the tour! It probably depends on the timing.

A great place to learn while having fun, it's well worth spending time to visit. You can experience VR for free and it's very special to sit in a train car and watch the projection animation outside the window. The children's hall will make kids want to stay and play. The permanent exhibition allows you to understand Taiwanese history and is suitable for elementary school children in the middle grades and above~
