Exploring Tokyo is possible, rain or shine!

Tokyo is loved by many for its pretty nature and cultural sites, as well as it being a bustling metropolis. 🏙️ Lots of people flock here in the spring (hello cherry blossom season! 🌸) from March to May when the weather is just perfect. But honestly, we believe that Tokyo is best visited all year round! You just have to be mindful about Tokyo weather.
The summer season ⛱️ (June to August) and the rainy season ☔️ (early June to mid-July) can be a little challenging for travellers. Between the sweltering heat, humidity, and sudden downpours, it’s tricky to know what to pack and how to plan your days. Still, there are plenty of things to do in Tokyo- especially indoors. In this guide, we got you covered (quite literally!) with fun activities you can enjoy no matter what the Tokyo weather is like.

Step on top of the world at the tallest building in the city: Tokyo Skytree! This is a famous landmark in town and the perfect experience for a rainy day. With two packages to choose from, you can either head up the 350m or 450m observation decks and witness unmatched 360-degree views of the entire Tokyo Metropolis that you won’t get to see anywhere else. 🔭 The views are stunning both morning and night, so this is a fun activity to pop into any time of your day.
