“36+3” Express Train Ticket (Green Car) by JR Kyushu

once in a lifetime experience. curated itinerary with lunch using local products. local Japanese can book the private compartments for 2pax, but Klook is not able to (needs minimum of 3 pax). there are two stops in between that showcase their local produce and experience some short walking to breathtaking sights.

We got on the JR gate at Hakata Station and waited for the 36+3 sightseeing train at 11:23. It was as exciting as we expected when the train arrived at the station. Each carriage brought a strong artistic atmosphere. We never stopped to take pictures along the way. At Hizenhama Station, there were free local tour guides who explained the local history to us. The 36+3 sightseeing train is a journey rich in art and humanities.

Frank review... This 36+3 Scenic Train (Thursday Route to Kagoshima-chuo) was abit of a letdown... Crew was not engaging at all (they were polite but not spontaneous at all) The 2nd last stop was a lifesaver stop of 22mins. Nice locals to greet us. Great sceneries / surroundings atmosphere / local products. Warm greetings from local 😄 The Bento Boxes were great & delicious. More friendly crew engagement would have been great

nice experience for this almost 5plus hours train ride from Miyazaki to Beppu.. however most of their announcements are in Japanese so as a foreigner, we have difficulty understanding that.. so just follow the local to get down the train when needed.. the activities in the different stops were kind of boring .. though the service person on board is good

Participating in the Monday golden route from Hakata to Sasebo, you can enter the gate directly without changing tickets, which is very convenient. The bento box is delicious and has a substantial portion. There are stalls at each station. If you like to buy local specialties, the time may be tight because the train has to depart on time.

The train is very elegant and nice. limited passengers so it's not packed. food is served using produce from kumamoto. you can also buy some items from the catering car. it's a nice and pleasant experience!

Seat Reservation Process: Very quick Price: Reasonable Included Transportation Services: Includes lunch, with a 30-minute stop to introduce the area. If you want to return to Hakata from Sasebo, you can choose the Limited Express train or take the 36+3 train back, but the 36+3 train will be more expensive, around 9500 yen. I enjoyed the other three routes in 2022.

Convenient booking, very good trip. If you have a chance, I'd like you to try to experience it. The train is beautifully decorated, the food is delicious, it's a really good experience.

36+3 is great and comfortable. The CP value is very high. You can also go shopping in the middle. It’s great.
