This was a fantastic tour and my tour guide Xiao Cui was wonderful! There were so many cool stops and he made sure everyone got their picutures and walked around to see if you needed anything at each location. I highly recommend for a full day of exploration!

Several of the attractions are natural energy spots, lush with green trees, perfect for breathing in fresh air and clearing your mind, while also learning about the origins of Japanese mythology.
Getting to these spots from Fukuoka isn't very convenient, so this tour was a huge help, and the itinerary was very well-planned. Kamishikimi Kumano-imasu Shrine is integrated with nature, surrounded by greenery, much like a place where forest spirits from Princess Mononoke might appear. Amano Iwato Shrine and Amano Yasukawara tell the story of how eight million gods lured Amaterasu Omikami out of hiding. Takachiho Gorge is where the young deity Ninigi-no-Mikoto descended to Ashihara no Nakatsukuni (the Central Land of Reed Plains), and the air there feels divine, inspiring awe. Be prepared for some physical exertion, as there are stairs and hills to climb, but it's definitely worth the effort!
Our tour leader, Zheng Yu, switched effortlessly between Chinese and Korean, providing thoughtful guidance and clear instructions. He clearly communicated the meeting times for each stop in advance and also informed us that there wouldn't be a dedicated lunch break, so we'd need to eat during our free time. He also pointed out convenient dining spots. It felt like the time allotted for each location was just right, never rushed. At the end, he even gave us Takachiho Gorge's specialty steamed buns as souvenirs.
Despite being the rainy season, it didn't rain, and the weather was incredibly cooperative. Our tour leader was very organized, and our fellow travelers were very nice. It was an excellent experience! Many thanks! 🙏

This project is a highly valuable and worthwhile itinerary. I had originally read online that Kumamoto Castle might be closed for maintenance, but luckily, we were able to visit! The ginkgo and cherry trees were truly beautiful. The timing was just right; if you want to eat and shop, you need to move quickly and take fewer photos to have a chance to try everything. The tempura was incredibly delicious and a must-try; it was sold alongside the bear-shaped cakes, and both were tasty and adorable. Aso Volcano, however, was a shame... we couldn't visit due to a red alert, which was the only disappointment. Our tour guide mentioned that it's very rare for Aso Volcano to be on a green alert, and even they couldn't predict the timing. The scenery was truly beautiful. Oh, and definitely bring a windbreaker! We thought it wouldn't be cold, but we were absolutely freezing. You should also try the coffee, and if you want to experience buying a lucky bag in Japan, you can grab one. The lucky bags contain a selection of the store's key items, so if you don't want to pick out souvenirs, you can just buy a lucky bag; it has plenty of things to give as gifts! It's excellent value for money, though it did rain a few times and disrupted things. There's also a supermarket where you should definitely buy things if you can. The Aso Musume strawberries are very popular, but they are incredibly sweet and delicious, not sour at all, with a fragrant strawberry aroma. There are other varieties of strawberries too, and the prices are all fantastic!

I was absolutely thrilled with this tour! The places we visited were breathtaking—the trip was worth it for that alone. Every stop on the itinerary was carefully chosen and offered genuine insight into the area, rather than just being a fleeting photo stops. The absolute highlight, however, was our tour guide: knowledgeable, humorous, and truly passionate about what she does. The service was impeccable from booking to the return transfer; everything ran smoothly and on schedule. The pace was relaxed without ever dragging, and every question was answered with enthusiasm. I highly recommend this tour via Klook—it was undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever taken. I would book it again in a heartbeat!

We joined this tour and chose to take the Yufuin no Mori train back to Hakata, which saved us the hassle of booking tickets in advance. Plus, the Yufuin no Mori departed at 5:15 PM, giving us over an hour more time compared to the group bus departure, which was fantastic! Our tour guide, Ada, was very kind. She explained the itinerary and collected money for admission tickets on the bus. At Kyushu African Safari, she quickly helped us purchase tickets. Although we didn't get to ride the Jungle Bus (it was sold out), watching the wild animal area from the tour bus allowed for clearer photos and better viewing. The entire day's itinerary was very fulfilling; it was a wonderful day trip!

Our tour guide, Wang Qi, was excellent. He helped us find the best spots for photos and patiently took many pictures for each group. It was a shame that it rained on the day we went and Mount Aso was recently closed, but Takachiho and Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine were both wonderful.

The itinerary was very well-planned, and the yukata experience was special. We were able to keep the yukata until the end of the trip, returning it in Hakata, which allowed us to wear the beautiful yukata for photos throughout our journey. Our tour guide, Zhang Qing, was incredibly attentive throughout the entire trip. In addition to providing detailed explanations of the historical sites and local culture, she proactively helped us take photos and was very happy to offer information on local dining and shopping. If we visit Kyushu again, we hope to have Zhang Qing as our excellent guide once more!

Haha, our handsome guide, Mr. Wang, praised us, saying we bring our own halo! No matter which attraction we visited, the rain would suddenly disappear, only to resume once we got back in the car, haha. Overall, my partner and I were very impressed with Mr. Wang's excellent planning and the smooth flow of the itinerary. He skillfully avoided crowds and traffic, making every stop feel like a VIP experience, without any jostling. First, we recharged our energy with a refreshing natural waterfall, then we headed to the Ichiran Ramen factory for a satisfying meal. This itinerary exceeded our expectations, and we're so glad we signed up; we ate until we were happily full! Next, we revisited childhood memories, stretching our muscles and taking beautiful photos on the swings – so much fun! Then we saw a torii gate, which rarely comes in white... it was truly wonderful. The grand finale was boarding a boat filled with joy for an unprecedented, thrilling challenge, and we even got to hear locals singing – what a blissful feeling! This tour is truly worth recommending. Oh, and yes, you absolutely must buy the Yanagawa seaweed! Don't even think twice, just buy a ton to take home; you won't regret it, and it makes a great souvenir. It's not something you can find everywhere!
