As soon as we entered we were greeted so nicely! The gallery assistant was so lovely she told us that the class will start in 10 mins we saw that the paper exhibition was on the first and second floor. Explored the exhibition it was very insightful and explained the origins of paper. Even how people use to use different forms of paper and materials to clean their bottom.. lol we headed up to the rooftop were the workshop was beginning the process was so immersive and fun. our instructor li li was patient and very clear on how to make the paper by shifting the mulberry fibers remains through the sieve. we each done it turns and waited for the water to drain out the excess. After we were shown to the mould and press station and it showed us how the paper is moulded into a square and ready for the finally product. If you’re looking for something fun and exciting to do in Taiwan I highly recommend this workshop it was fun, immersive and cheap. plus you get to keep a souvenir from Taiwan :)
The explainer is very gentle. When a child accidentally tore the ticket, the clerk is also very gentle to help glue it together. It is a good experience to understand the papermaking process clearly. There are more children, and there are quite a lot of spots where you can take pictures. Although Klook bought the tickets, we still have to go early on weekends to exchange tickets and sign in line for DIY at 14:30, otherwise we may be in line for DIY at 15:30; we stopped at Jianguo Elevated, ordered at Banco, and then went to exchange tickets and sign for sorting. Come back for dinner, the time is just right.
Children must choose petal DIY, because when they see the whole pool of purple petal water, they can’t help but reach in and stir it. Tree paste and beater are all necessary for paper making. There are also many paper-related introductions on the walls of the third floor Video, increase some knowledge about paper, paper can be fireproof after processing, and Cloud Gate dance paper! If you are not in a hurry, you can slowly read the introduction, wait for the crowd to disperse, and slowly find a corner to take some Wenqing photos. It happened that it was raining in the paper making on the top floor, and there were some green plants, and the photos were also very artistic.
On a sunny summer day, go to the Shuhuo Memorial Paper Museum to immerse yourself in the art of papermaking, experience flower and grass handmade paper and handmade books, and learn a lot about paper through the friendly explanations of the guides. After choosing to purchase electronic tickets at Klook first, the ticket purchase process can be accelerated, and you can easily enter the venue on the designated date, which is convenient and fast, and it is recommended
The teacher's explanation was very lively and interesting. The children listened very attentively. The hand-made papermaking experience was impressive. After the end, he helped everyone prepare the finished works. He was very attentive.
It was a very brief experience. We just put the wooden frame into the water, swirled it around twice, took it out, patted it dry, and let it air out a bit. Then, the staff took the paper downstairs to dry it, and the experience was over. Including the staff's explanation and the entire papermaking experience, it only took about half an hour. Afterward, you can use the paper you made to create a small booklet there, or you can take it home and make something yourself.
Although the tour guide was a little nervous, the explanation was very clear. The entire process, from the guided tour to production and drying, took about an hour.

Buying tickets plus the DIY plant and paper craft activity is both cost-effective and convenient! The hands-on process is fun and highly educational, allowing you to personally learn about papermaking culture. You'll leave with a unique and beautiful creation, feeling a great sense of accomplishment. Highly recommended!
The environment is warm and comfortable. The flower and handmade paper DIY is very interesting. The staff is very kind and explains everything in detail. It is a good museum for parents and children to learn and play.
