The guide of the day was the Holy Man Guide. He was very friendly and humorous. He would share many stories and explain the ecology, and he would also help take photos~~ I was very lucky to see the Tianchi that was full of water! The whole trip is worth visiting. Although it requires both hands and feet to complete, the hard work is worth it.
Although Datianchi can also climb on its own, it is led by a local documented guide to hear the stories and humanities of Lanyu, so that we can get closer to the local life. The guide is young and energetic, and can explain the local plant, insect and animal ecology. The price is also very reasonable. In fact, Datianchi is not easy to climb, so it is safer to have a guide. I recommend that you can really purchase related itineraries when you go to Lanyu, and it is guaranteed! However, there is no water in Datianchi for a while, so if you are concerned, consider taking a look! We think that although there is no water, the whole trip is still great.
Again, the holy male guide took us to watch and climb the big Tianchi at night. The people were funny and attentive. The itinerary exceeded 100 and 8:00 and gathered at the mountain entrance. While telling stories, burning Miscanthus, and eating wild betel nut, the pace of climbing up the mountain is quite slow, don’t worry. I was very tired and went back to the mountain pass at about 12:30 to take a bunch of beautiful photos. When you first come to Lanyu, you must climb it.
A challenging itinerary to explain how lizards are hypnotized and show us how everyone is amazed ~ children are also dumbfounded and caught along the way and fail to hypnotize 😅😅 Is this a special function of local people?
The holy male coach leads the group to be lively and interesting, and will help everyone take pictures to commemorate the beautiful Datianchi. The journey is a little hard but worth it
The lake in August is five full. The tour guide will explain the ecology on the mountain and the life of the Yami people. Because of the explanation and assembly, the travel time will be four hours.
The Datianchi in Lanyu was originally a volcanic crater that was washed by rain and turned into a lake. In the early years, it was a forbidden place for the Tao people. In recent years, it has become a must-visit place in Lanyu.
It is recommended that you stay at least five days when visiting Orchid Island!! The culture on land and the world-class underwater diving spots!! If you go there, you will really return to the island with Orchid Island disease!! It is recommended to go hiking in Datianchi. It is safer to be led by locals~ The tour guide will also introduce the local traditional culture!! It is really worth experiencing
The scenery of Lanyu Dayianchi is magnificent and the lake water is crystal clear. Surrounded by green mountain peaks, it is so refreshing. The trail follows the lake and enjoys the tranquility and beauty of nature. This natural lake is a great treasure of Orchid Island and is worth experiencing in person.
The road to explore Datianchi is very difficult, but if you like challenges or experience the authentic activities of Lanyu, you must come
