Such a beautiful experience and definitely one of the memorable parts of our trip! The Maokong Gondola ride was really enjoyable, especially with the amazing views of Taipei and the surrounding mountains along the way. The ride was comfortable and gave us a completely different view of the city. We especially loved visiting the Gaomei Wetlands. The scenery was incredible, with the wide-open wetlands, wind turbines, and beautiful views stretching into the distance. We happened to be there around sunset, which made everything look even more amazing. It’s a great place to slow down, take some photos, and enjoy the scenery away from the busy city. Definitely worth visiting!
We bought the 3 cats combo ticket and chose the small sealed tea DIY experience. We didn't have time to get off at Zhinan Temple Station since we spent more time at the Zoo. We saw alot of active animals. Walking around the tea farm was peaceful and the ice cream was perfect for a hot day. The typhoon shelter spare ribs from Red Wood House were delicious. I will definitely rebook to check out the temple. Upgrading to a crystal cabin is easy and only one way.

We had an amazing experience in riding the Gondola one day pass. There’s no line on the way up since we arrived early morning. We also had a fun day in the zoo and we were able to see a lot of animals which can’t be seen in our country.

The Maokong Gondola was such a wonderful experience! 🩵🚠 We are so glad we did not miss this out considering its our last day in Taiwan and the weather in the past 3 days was rainy. Weather got better that day and we booked this ticket on the same hour and we were still able to avail it. The weather was fine when we got there but i would suggest you ride the gondola in the morning because it was foggy in the afternoon after our Taipei Zoo tour. A lot of walking while in the zoo, you need to ride the shuttle bus to transfer to the other area. Overall experience was great.
Great experience! We start first to ride in Taipei Zoo up to the last station Maokong station. From Maokong station, we just ate the tea ice cream which is super delicious! From Gondola you can see tea farm also. Due to lack of time we didn’t able to visit the temples. We focused on maximizing our time in Taipei zoo after our Maokong station. Taipei zoo is really big. My husband feels like it’s his Disneyland since he loves animals. Got to see lazy panda :) Wish there would be more panda to see. Animals ang cute and the zoo is clean and not smelly. It’s like natural habitat to them. You gotta prepare your feet because it has a lot of walking to do. We haven’t see the birds since we lack of time.
