Honestly, we regret not staying here for longer. Everything was just so good. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and we were lucky enough to have an amazing view of Mt. Fuji. The whole hotel felt very neat, peaceful and welcoming. There were two Nepalese staff members at reception, and both were so friendly and welcoming. They made us feel really comfortable from the moment we arrived and were genuinely helpful throughout our stay. They also helped us with information about nearby attractions and explained the free hotel transport to Kawaguchiko Station, which was really convenient. During check-in, you can choose your preferred drop-off time from the available options. Overall, we had such a good experience here. Clean, spacious, friendly and genuinely welcoming. We really wish we had stayed longer and would definitely come back again.

Location is around 30mins walk from Kawaguchiko bus station where the hub of the attractions are but they do have shuttle service to-and-from at certain hours. Downside of this hotel is probably the check-out/check-in time which is 10am and 4pm respectively (most hotels do 11am and 3pm).. Arrived early but was asked to wait, reception spoke good English and was helpful.. I got the corner room which is extremely huge (i think may be 35sqm) for a very reasonable price and plus a Mt.Fuji view from my room.. Room is a bit old but none of the furniture is broken and most importantly its clean.. Kombini is 5mins walk away and restaurants around 10mins walk.. They have an onsen space (split gender male/female), it was quiet when i used it at night, very relaxing..

Amazing Mt. Fuji view – worth the stay I had a wonderful stay at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko. The highlight is definitely the clear and stunning view of Mount Fuji — you can see Fujisan directly from the room, and waking up to this view was unforgettable. If the weather is clear, the scenery is absolutely perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, much bigger than typical Japanese hotels. The peaceful environment made it very relaxing and the onsen was a great bonus after a day of sightseeing. The location is quiet and ideal for enjoying nature. Although it’s a bit away from the station, it was rather easy to get there because we rented a car and drove on our own. Staff were polite and helpful during our stay. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers who want a beautiful Mt. Fuji view and a calm, comfortable stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

had to pay $300 for onsen. otherwise nice clean hotel. however the day was cloudy and did not get to see Mount Fuji.

Room is clean and staff are friendly and also got onsen. Just too far from kawaguchiko station, about near 36mins walk. But will go again if visit Mt.Fuji.

Room was spacious with a great view overlooking Fujisan. Greeted by her daily was most rewarding! It also has a nice onsen; only drawback was that it wasn’t private. But enjoying a dip and soaking ourselves in it after a tiring day out exploring was truly welcoming! The breakfast was nice with traditional Japanese cuisine. Huge parking space, so if you’re driving, be rest assured. The ryokan is a tad hidden, so make sure you don’t miss the turns and corners coming to the location.
