Saitama Prefecture Day trips

I misread and thought I was going to Hoshino and the Prince Outlet, but it turned out to be a choice between the two. I changed my itinerary at the last minute and notified the driver and guide, Mr. Wu, but there was a misunderstanding that caused him to search for us everywhere. Thank you.

A day trip to Karuizawa offers a wonderful vacation vibe: Kumoba Pond's waters reflect the surrounding forest, and strolling along the wooden boardwalk of Harunire Terrace, enjoying coffee, desserts, and bread, is incredibly therapeutic. Karuizawa is worth planning an overnight stay next time. Tour guide Liu was friendly and professional, providing detailed explanations, covering everything from historical culture and customs to cuisine, making the overall experience perfect.

Our tour guide for the past two days was Tony, and he took very good care of us. He even gave us small gifts. It was very cold when we went to Ginzan Onsen, and he gave us heat packs. He also gave us heat packs and chocolate on the second day. When we couldn't enter the Fox Village, he found a way for us to go somewhere else. We went to Shiroishi Castle, which was very beautiful and worth a walk and taking some pictures. The driver was also very nice, drove very smoothly, and greeted everyone warmly when getting on and off the bus. We happened to encounter heavy snow when we went to Ginzan Onsen, which was very beautiful. On the second day, we went to the Zao Snow Monsters, and we were incredibly lucky! The weather was very clear. Although we couldn't ride the cable car to the very top because there were too many individual travelers, it was still very beautiful and worth it! I heard that the day before we went, Zao had a big snowstorm and the visibility was very poor, but the weather was clear blue skies today! So lucky~ We stayed at Kamesei Ryokan. The hotel looks very historical, but it's maintained quite cleanly. The rooms are also very large, and the breakfast is rich and delicious, with both traditional Japanese and Western breakfasts. Excellent day tour and save the time on public transport. Arakurayama park, Mount Fuji Ropeway and Oshino Hakkai.

The tour leader was great and emphasized the importance of being on time, mentioning that the bus would leave otherwise. This reminder was very helpful, and everyone was on time today, February 2nd. Lunch was delicious. The snow tubing and sledding in the morning were a lot of fun. The weather was great, with light, fine snow falling. We had a lot of fun. The strawberries were delicious, and we ate so many we were stuffed. The tofu skin making experience in the afternoon was fantastic. It was my first time making tofu skin myself, and it was a lot of fun. Today's itinerary was wonderful. We were constantly eating and on our way to eat, haha. It was an excellent trip. The tour leader and guide were Taiwanese, very helpful, and helped me take photos. They were very nice. This trip was great, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to play in the snow.

its time consuming to go to places so far away from the city centre. its nice to have a tour bus with a tour guide to show you around! would be much better if we had more time in Kawagoe!

The only downside is that going to Ichiban-gai in the morning was really too early, the shops only open at 10:00, and we had to leave at 10:20. The driver was very nice and sent the location via WhatsApp, he came to pick us up, so we didn't have to walk back. Overall, very satisfied, the driver was very nice, and the kids had fun.
