we took the 9.15am ferry, it's not too crowded and the safety briefing was precise. the crew helped to spot the whales and we had 20 mins of whale viewing time before we said farewell to the the giant sea mammals. The boat was quite distanced from the whales, without a powerful camera it's looks pretty tiny. see the tiny fish using handphone vs the bigger ones using a camera. Overall, we thank God for the nice weather and good show-off by the whales.

the experience was great! the cruise offers a mini bar on board as well as vomit bags. we spotted 3 whales, splashing out of water! i strongly suggest to check the tide and weather before booking the date and time. The operator is at circular bay wharf, where you can look for to change a date or time

So lucky that the whale was so close to the boat and they were quite active during the morning that have seen them several times during the trip. One small tip is that the ferry is aboard close to the aquarium. We almost missed the ferry as it just said the meeting point is Darling harbour and we went to the other side of the harbour. Allow some time as the crew will have a talk on the safety matters before getting on the boat.

This time, I participated in an activity I'd always wanted to experience, and thankfully, it didn't disappoint. I went out to sea twice. The first time, I took a large boat (with about 50 people). From a distance (about 100 meters), we saw humpback whales spouting and swimming to the surface as they migrated. In about an hour and a half, we saw around 5-6 pairs of whales, and even encountered a pair of dolphins playing around the boat. A few days later, I joined a fast boat (with about 10 people). This time, I was even luckier to see a humpback whale's tail slapping the water up close for two to three minutes. It was an unforgettable experience!

OMG! absolutely worth every dollar! We booked this experience to celebrate my father's birthday and it ended up being one of the best days we've had in Sydney.
Getting up close to a koala was incredible 🐨. I got my photo with one, learned so much about them throughout the day, and then got to meet and hand-feed kangaroos too 🦘. There were so many amazing Australian animals to see, including a Tasmanian Devil, Cassowary, Komodo Dragon, Dingoes, Wallabies, Flying Foxes, Turtles, Frogs and even a massive 500kg Saltwater Crocodile 🐊. We also met the cutest sleepy wombat named Scarlett!
One of the things I loved most was learning about Aussie Ark and the important conservation work they're doing to help save endangered Australian species.
The food and wine were unbelievable.
The boomerang lesson was also so much fun 🪃
My dad had an amazing birthday and we're still talking about it.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sydney. Thanks Sean for such a memorable day!

This journey has been an amazing experience for us family. We love it so much. BTW, we are from Malaysia. We purchased combo ticket together for whale watching and taronga zoo as it is much cheaper and hassle free. So whale watching must be on the list while visiting sydney. we never regret booking with captain cook cruise. They are very professional. The cruise ship is big. The tour guide is very friendly. They are expert in catching whale. we can see humpback whale tail for almost 4 to 5 times.. It's better than never. Overall I give 4.5 /5 ⭐ . Truly recommended for those who are excited for whale watching as it is lifetime experience. thank you KLOOk for this awesome itinerary. thank you captain cook cruise for this unforgeable memory.

The Location of the office for Captain Cooks Dinner Cruise to claim actual ticket is just across king wraft 1 where the boat is located for the Dinner cruise. fast and easy to claim the ticket they will just ask you about the confirmation code issued by klook. There are assigned seats and table upon board and there are assigned servers to take the guest’s orders . Each guest are allowed to choose 1 starter 1 entree and 1 dessert . They also provide free bread roll and butter.. Drinks are availble but not included in the paid package so you have to pay upon order. The sail was smooth and it was a good weather . There is also a stop in circular quay where other guest boarded. We will definitely recommend trying dinner cruise at Captain cook . Good service . Great staff .
