    Pre-Departure Planning

    1. Ensure you are Eligible for quarantine-free travel

    • You have to be fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved or recognised by Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration
    • Starting 6 July, Australia will also reopen to unvaccinated travellers
    • Unvaccinated children under 12 years old will be treated as fully vaccinated

To prove that you are fully vaccinated, you will have to digitally endorse your Singapore vaccination certificate via Notarise. While Australia will no longer require you to provide evidence of vaccination status, it will still be safe to have it on hand.

    3. Apply for Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)

For Singaporeans entering Australia, you will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) or have a valid Australian visa. There is an online application service charge of AUD$20 per ETA. While you should be notified of the result of your ETA application immediately, it is recommended that you still apply for it well ahead of your departure.

    4. Buy Travel Insurance

It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance that covers COVID-19 related medical/treatment expenses and hospitalisation costs. You can get the MSIG Travel Insurance on Klook that comes with a COVID-19 coverage for your peace of mind.
