Fantastic 5.0
We truly enjoyed the tour overall and were very impressed with the guide’s effort throughout the day. The places included in the itinerary were interesting and enjoyable to explore and giving us a great experience of the destination. Our guide, Elise was very accommodating. Knowing we had an elderly family member with us, she thoughtfully arranged a front seat to ensure easy access and greater comfort. Elise was very good in keeping the information concise and engaging. We also appreciated the entertaining stories and meaningful insights she shared along the way which made the journey even more delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we sincerely thank Elise for making the trip so enjoyable for our group. Thank you :) PS: Please take note that although we selected a Mandarin speaking tour, it turned out to be bilingual tour. We understand this may depend on the number of participant mix but not mentioned in Klook introduction page.

I had a really memorable day thanks to our guide. We visited Nara, Uji, and Fushimi Inari, and the whole trip was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. She has a very cool and confident vibe — short hair, a relaxed style, and a calm, clear way of speaking. She can switch between Japanese, Mandarin, and English effortlessly, which made everything so easy and natural. Her explanations were simple and vivid, not boring at all, and she shared small details that made each place feel alive. I also really appreciated her respectful and open personality. She didn’t try to perform or push anything — she just let the experience breathe, which made the day feel genuine and relaxed. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, chill, and really knows how to guide without being overbearing, I’d definitely recommend her. Great energy, great pace, great company.

Joana our tour guide was very communicative of the whole experience. she shared her number and messaged us the day before to confirm the meeting point. Even though we were late we were able to join the group at Nara Park where she met us and gave us the crackers for the park and sending us the location of the meeting point. the tour is child friendly and allowed us to be able to see places we wouldn’t have been able to on our own. we had a 3 year old in our group who enjoyed all the stops and Nara park being his favourite. Being able to visit Uji freely was also nice and Joana sent us the location of where we had to be. as a group travelling with a child this was suitable and easy enough for us to make the most of our time in Japan😊

I had a wonderful experience on this Kyoto Trip! Our guide, Huahua, was incredibly friendly and shared great information at every destination in both English and Chinese. He was very organized throughout the tour—providing his contact number, clearly explaining where and when to meet, and doing a headcount each time we moved to a new location. Huahua also offered to take photos for us at each stop, which was a nice touch. At the end of the tour, he shared a warm and heartfelt message thanking everyone for joining. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Huahua as a tour guide.

On my first trip to Nara, I really didn't expect there to be so many deer – it was almost scary! Seeing the hordes of them swarm you for deer crackers, bumping into you, biting at your clothes, and even trying to eat the dolls on your bag was quite frightening 😱. Entering Todai-ji Temple felt like a huge relief, finally escaping the deer! I also understand why there aren't many food vendors here, haha! Todai-ji itself is truly magnificent, and the Great Buddha is awe-inspiring. Leaving Nara and heading to Uji, I found it to be much more serene than Nara. Whether walking through Byodo-in Temple, the shopping streets, or along the Uji River, it felt so relaxing. The matcha ramen was delicious, although the matcha takoyaki and gyoza didn't have a strong matcha flavor, they were still really good! Since we had a young child with us, we skipped the onsen and instead enjoyed a leisurely appreciation of Uji! Our tour guide this time was quite young and seemed a bit inexperienced, but I could tell she had a soft heart, constantly wanting to wait for late passengers. However, since there was a whole busload of people waiting, the driver had to leave after stopping twice without them. Having been on quite a few day trips, I've noticed that many tour guides are quite interactive with the passengers on the bus. This guide must have been new; I hope she improves with time!

This Japan tour was the best one yet! Everything was super organized, and we had a blast, even with the crowds in some spots. Our guide, Jeon, was awesome and made sure we were having fun and were comfortable. He communicates well and is multilingual, so he really catered to the needs or questions of every participant and gives us the history of every place we visit. Plus, we got a printed photo and a great restaurant recommendation in Osaka!
