Fantastic 5.0
From the room, you can see both the ocean and the sunset. The hot springs are also very comfortable, and breakfast includes crab legs. You can borrow geta (wooden clogs) in the lobby, and each floor has yukata (robes) that you can choose from. I really liked the tatami mats in the room.

Fantastic 5.0
Booking hotels on Klook is very convenient. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the station, and there are many izakayas nearby. Among them, Isai is highly recommended; their dishes are not only innovative but also delicious, with every single one being amazing. The best part is that the restaurant offers premium sake by the glass (such as Juyondai, Aramasa, Jikon, etc.). But I'm getting off-topic, so back to the point: booking on Klook also allows you to earn points that can be redeemed for future purchases. New users can get an additional $80 discount by entering 2N85A at checkout.

Fantastic 5.0
The accommodation is great! The accessibility and service are good, and the hot springs are excellent. However, there's really nothing to do in Sakaiminato. Still, I'd like to visit again sometime.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a traditional hot spring inn! When you go to dinner in the evening, housekeeping will come to make your bed. The room only has a toilet; you have to go to the large public bath to shower. However, the sink in the room provides what seems to be lotion and BB cream. Inside the public bath, there are facial cleansers, facial exfoliators, and scrubs for feet and elbows. That exfoliator is really good; I recommend using it thoroughly when you go to shower in the public bath, and then enjoy the hot springs! The public bath also has a water dispenser for drinking water. The hotel parking lot is very large; about ten cars can park at the entrance, and there's another parking lot next to it. The beach is right next door, just past the embankment, super close!

Fantastic 5.0
Although the facilities are a bit old, they are clean and the breakfast is delicious. The parking lot is spacious, making it convenient if you have a car, and the view of Mount Daisen from the room window is absolutely stunning.

Great 4.0
I've stayed at the Okayama branch before and thought it offered great value. When I saw there was a branch in Yonago, I immediately booked it. They offer free breakfast and dinner, which, although simple and unchanging, is still great to have. There's also a large public bath, and the mountain view from the window is beautiful. The room was also spacious.

What to know before visiting Yonago

Yonago in brief: what travellers book and when

Yonago draws visitors mainly for day tours, cultural experiences and food-related activities, with demand swinging through the year so summer is noticeably busier. Klook booking data show demand peaks in July and dips in September, giving the city a clear high-season rhythm centred on mid-summer.

Best months to visit based on crowds and prices

Klook bookings peak in July while demand is lowest in September; August also sees above-average demand. Prices tend to follow a similar pattern: according to Klook data August is typically the priciest month while September is typically the cheapest, with prices about 39% lower in September compared with August. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, plan for September; if you prefer peak-season atmosphere, July–August delivers that busier summer vibe. Note that price and demand largely move together here, so the busiest months are also the most expensive.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most travellers book activities for Yonago a few days to a week ahead, so if you have a short trip you can still be flexible when planning. For travel in the July–August peak, consider securing key experiences a bit earlier to avoid sold-out time slots; for trips in September you can often find lower prices and more availability. Use Klook to compare what's available for your dates and lock in whatever matters most to your itinerary.
