Fantastic 5.0
From the room, you can see both the ocean and the sunset. The hot springs are also very comfortable, and breakfast includes crab legs. You can borrow geta (wooden clogs) in the lobby, and each floor has yukata (robes) that you can choose from. I really liked the tatami mats in the room.

Fantastic 5.0
Booking hotels on Klook is very convenient. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the station, and there are many izakayas nearby. Among them, Isai is highly recommended; their dishes are not only innovative but also delicious, with every single one being amazing. The best part is that the restaurant offers premium sake by the glass (such as Juyondai, Aramasa, Jikon, etc.). But I'm getting off-topic, so back to the point: booking on Klook also allows you to earn points that can be redeemed for future purchases. New users can get an additional $80 discount by entering 2N85A at checkout.

Fantastic 5.0
The accommodation is great! The accessibility and service are good, and the hot springs are excellent. However, there's really nothing to do in Sakaiminato. Still, I'd like to visit again sometime.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a traditional hot spring inn! When you go to dinner in the evening, housekeeping will come to make your bed. The room only has a toilet; you have to go to the large public bath to shower. However, the sink in the room provides what seems to be lotion and BB cream. Inside the public bath, there are facial cleansers, facial exfoliators, and scrubs for feet and elbows. That exfoliator is really good; I recommend using it thoroughly when you go to shower in the public bath, and then enjoy the hot springs! The public bath also has a water dispenser for drinking water. The hotel parking lot is very large; about ten cars can park at the entrance, and there's another parking lot next to it. The beach is right next door, just past the embankment, super close!

Fantastic 5.0
Although the facilities are a bit old, they are clean and the breakfast is delicious. The parking lot is spacious, making it convenient if you have a car, and the view of Mount Daisen from the room window is absolutely stunning.

Great 4.0
I've stayed at the Okayama branch before and thought it offered great value. When I saw there was a branch in Yonago, I immediately booked it. They offer free breakfast and dinner, which, although simple and unchanging, is still great to have. There's also a large public bath, and the mountain view from the window is beautiful. The room was also spacious.

What to know before visiting Yonago

Quick snapshot of Yonago’s travel scene

Yonago’s top experiences on Klook are led by outdoor attractions, food and dining options, and cultural activities, with demand cycling through clear highs and lows across the year. Booking patterns show a strong summer peak and much quieter autumn months, so the city’s rhythm suits either warm-season activity or a calmer off-season pace.

Best times to visit and what to expect

Klook booking data shows July as the busiest month and September as the quietest. Prices generally rise into late summer: August is typically the priciest month while September is usually the cheapest, with Klook prices lower by about 39% in that month compared with the priciest month. If you want lower prices and fewer crowds, plan for September or the surrounding autumn months; if you want peak-season energy and fuller seasonal programming, aim for July or August. Demand and price move broadly together through the summer—busier months tend to be more expensive—then both ease off into autumn.

Tips for travellers from Hong Kong

Most travellers from Hong Kong book for Yonago with a short planning window, so there’s flexibility to arrange activities a few days out and still find good options. If you’re travelling in the peak months named above, consider booking earlier to secure popular outdoor and cultural experiences; for autumn trips you can be more spontaneous and often find lower prices on Klook.
