If you're looking for a hotel in Kitakyushu, just stay here! Located directly above JR Kokura Station, it offers the best accessibility to public transportation and shopping malls. The rooms are in great condition and very well soundproofed, making for a really comfortable stay. You can get from your hotel room to the JR Kokura Station platform in just 30 seconds!

It was so convenient to get around because it's right next to Kokura Station. There was a bit of a drain smell in the bathroom, but I didn't stay in the accommodation for long, so I didn't pay much attention to it. The location pretty much makes up for any downsides~

very close to the shinkansen station and nearby attractions. The room and bed is as expected and comportable.

1. The hotel is very elegant and comfortable, with the standards of a five-star hotel. 2. Although you can see signs of age, it is clean and bright. 3. The high ceilings and excellent service made our stay very satisfying! 4. The hotel breakfast is exquisite and delicious. Overall, our family really loved this hotel!

Transportation Convenience: Approximately a 5-minute walk to Kokura JR Station, very convenient. Hotel Location: Several shopping streets and restaurants nearby, and only a ten-minute walk to Kokura Castle. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast is provided by the Italian restaurant downstairs. The variety cannot be compared to a regular buffet, but it has a little bit of everything, so it's acceptable. Service: Semi-self-service check-in is used. You must first register your passport and fill in your personal information at the counter, and then go to the self-service machine to collect your room card. Cleanliness: The room is quite clean and tidy, and the space is wide. Unexpectedly, there is a Panasonic massage chair. The bathroom has a regular Japanese bathroom design with a full-size bathtub, but the disadvantage is that the bathroom door cannot be locked.

Location of hotel is good, Level 2 has a sheltered walkway linked to Kokura station. When exit from the door, turn right to take the route towards stadium, this is faster as it has a travellator. It’s less walking than walking towards Lawson and walk pass the anime building to the same kokura station entrance. From kokura, can access many malls such as Vierra, AMU plaza, Saintcity. If the tower floor has discount, highly recommend to take it as the amenities are good and refilled each day of the stay. Free access to Tower library which is a quiet and cozy area to chill and enjoy the free drinks. There are hot and iced coffee, tea, calpis, Minute Maid etc. View from level 27 is good and there is a description sheet. Breakfast set menu is good, had a special fish dish on the both days I went, service is top notch. Buffet spread at level 1 is good too, has many tasty selections. After the buffet, can even takeaway a cup of coffee from the entrance coffee machine.

As a solo traveller I am happy to join this tour as I was able to go to places that are difficult to reach if you don’t have a car. The van is spacious, tour guide speaks English and Chinese and follows time strictly. Our guide Ella explains each places that we went through. She also serves as photographer and making sure that all participants are accounted for.

This trip to Kitakyushu's Mojiko and Tsunoshima was very smooth and full of unique experiences. The tour guide not only knew the opening time of the Blue Wing Mojiko drawbridge, saving us a long wait, but also thoughtfully arranged visits to the Mojiko Retro area and Karato Market, allowing us to eat and explore. The meal choices were a big plus, whether it was the unique baked curry from Curry Honpo or the pufferfish dishes at Karato Market, both were very memorable. The timing for visiting the Tsunoshima Bridge and Motonosumi Shrine was also perfect, with weather and lighting ideal for taking photos. Overall, the tour guide was friendly and attentive, with clear explanations, making the trip both relaxing and fulfilling. It was a very enjoyable experience.

小石导游 is a good guide. helpful too. but according to the guide, the tour is either a choice between Mojiko Port or Karato Market. As the majority of the tour chose the port, I had to forego my intended choice. felt disappointed by klook because the itinerary stated did not state this and I signed up because the market was a key factor in deciding the tour. felt that klook "cheated" me. saving grace was the tour was good overall.
