Fantastic 5.0
I highly recommend booking Shibuya Sky in advance for the very first time slot at 10:00 AM. From 10:00 AM onwards, visitors enter continuously by time slot, and since people don't just stay for an hour—many stay much longer—congestion builds up on the observation deck between the earlier and later groups. The more crowded it gets, the harder it is to take photos or comfortably enjoy the view. This applies to both Shibuya Sky and Tokyo Skytree. Personally, I preferred the structure of Shibuya Sky (45th floor, glass walls, open-air space, rooftop) over Tokyo Skytree (maximum height 634m, observation deck at 450m, entirely indoors). However, Tokyo Skytree might be a better choice during very hot or cold weather. Booking online through Klook is great because you can get about a 10% discount. Nowadays, if you don't book online in advance, it's practically impossible to buy tickets on-site.

Unarguably the best experience. HANDS DOWN! I hadn’t been in the experience longer than 10 minutes and I got emotional. but I also was amazed by the curation of the exhibit. you can get lost inside easily and sometimes your up becomes down. lol. The staff was amazing, polite and helpful. 10 out of 10 recommends. I want to explore them all now.

finally managed to go up the skytree. wow it’s worth it. great experience, took lots of photos. believe it or not, the views on tembo deck is much better than views on the tembo gallery. there’s also multiple cafes, I ordered something to drink. good experience, worth it

Teamlabs Planets is worth the hype. Come early to line up for your time slot. We came midweek with a 12.30pm session and it's still busy but the staff stagger the groups so we felt it wasn't too crowded. Spent over 3hrs there and easily more if we did all the activities. Absolutely loved the water areas/section. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The gardens were nice too. We went to the Athletics forest last which we skimmed through as we were quite tired by the end. Overall a must do/see!

I loved it tremendously. They said that the self guided tour would take about 3-4 hours but I was in for 7. Just loved everything about it. If you like "making of's" and Harry potter, this must be done!

1. If you go at night, the background (the observatory wall behind the person taking the photo) will reflect a lot in the glass. It's best to find a position and angle where there's minimal reflection. 2. It's definitely prettier at night. Because of this, you might even have to wait in line at spots with the Tokyo Tower in the background. Be aware that some people might inconsiderately take photos for a long time in the same spot. 3. The entrance and exit are different, and you have to walk all the way around. The closer you get to the exit, the less you can see Tokyo Tower, but it's quieter and there are places to lean and take photos, so the atmosphere is better. (However, if you like night views, the scenery around Tokyo Tower is still better.) 4. How to enter: Find the Mori Tower Gallery and take the elevator to the 3rd floor -> Buy tickets at the 3rd-floor ticket office or present your pre-purchased ticket QR code -> Follow the instructions and take the elevator to the 52nd floor in order (scan your QR code to enter).

Super satisfied! Getting the movie collaboration '討伐棒' (subjugation stick), playing mini-games, and buying new merchandise was fantastic! 👍 Booking the Chiikawa Land experience through Klook this time was incredibly worthwhile! As soon as I entered, I received the highly anticipated movie collaboration limited edition '討伐棒,' which felt very high-quality in my hands. As a fan, I was truly touched! The photo zones on-site were also very well-designed. I finally got to take a picture with the movie characters Siren and Hachiware, and the scene was super cute, making for millions of points in photo quality! Besides taking photos, the experience of playing mini-games on-site was also great 👍, with plenty of interaction. The store also had a wide variety of new merchandise, making it easy to buy a lot 👍. Before I knew it, my shopping basket was full. The overall flow of the park was very smooth, and checking e-tickets was quick. I highly recommend it to all Chiikawa fans who want to collect the latest limited edition merchandise!

Was the most magical place and so fun! Even if you don't fully understand Japanese, the story and performance was amazing! As a Pompompurin lover and getting to go to the 30th anniversary, this was EVERYTHING!! ease of booking on Klook: 5/5 facilities: spotless and CLEAN since you have to sit on the floors, this was too good to be true!

What to know before visiting Tokyo

What to expect in Tokyo

This catalogue is led by Observation decks, Museums, Theme parks, Cultural experiences and Tours, giving you a mix from quick high-up viewpoints to immersive cultural and amusement options so you can pick short tickets or bigger experiences. Bookings peak in November and are quietest in July, so the same popular experiences are harder to get into in November and easier in July. The spread of categories means Tokyo suits both quick drop-in visits and longer sightseeing plans.

Choosing the right thing to book

A key decision is whether you want the widest range of choices or the simplest, most affordable options: the category with the widest range is Tours, with a typical price around SGD 49 and options stretching to about SGD 104. Observation decks are the most affordable entry point and tend to have a narrow range around SGD 26, so they’re the easiest way to fill short gaps in an itinerary.

For travellers choosing as a family or for a full-day outing, Theme parks sit higher at SGD 49 typical and are often priced above museums and observation decks. Museums and Cultural experiences sit in the middle where what you get can vary more by experience, so comparison matters if you care about inclusions and style.

When travellers from Singapore book

Most travellers book about 12 days ahead, with the earliest planners booking around 19 days ahead, and many last-minute shoppers buying within 2 days of their visit. Plan on booking one to two weeks ahead for general flexibility, and give yourself that cushion in November when demand is highest.

How Tokyo categories compare on price

The table below shows how the city's top categories compare on typical price and the usual price range.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Observation decks SGD 26 SGD 22 – SGD 28
Museums SGD 39 SGD 24 – SGD 44
Theme parks SGD 49 SGD 31 – SGD 57
Cultural experiences SGD 40 SGD 23 – SGD 84
Tours SGD 49 SGD 22 – SGD 104

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
