The location is excellent — right in front of a tram station and very close to major attractions, which made getting around super convenient. The only downside was that the room didn’t feel as clean as I expected, likely because it’s an apartment-style accommodation. That said, everything was well organized and functional.

Very nice and clean room with good view of Spencer Street. I opted for no housekeeping service, so I saved a few dollars on the room charge. Very convenient location (very close to Southern Cross station), and near the downtown core of Melbourne. At $18 per person for the full breakfast, it’s very good value for money. Will definitely consider booking GSH the next time I plan to visit Melbourne.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. The room was a little smaller than I expected but still acceptable. The room was clean and bright, and the staff were polite. If I visit Melbourne again, it will definitely be my first choice. Hotel Location: Located in the central CBD, Melbourne's CBD has many attractions and top-notch restaurants and cafes, all within a few minutes to about ten minutes' walk. Basically, a few dozen steps to the left or right from the hotel entrance will lead you to a first-class cafe. The location is fantastic. Service: The staff were all very polite. Transportation Convenience: The tram station is just a few dozen steps away, and it's free to ride around the CBD. Can it get any better than that! Cleanliness: The room was clean, bright, and spotless, with all the necessary facilities.

I love this vacation. Everyone is so helpful. I would definitely want to stay here again. I will surely stay again.

this hotel exceeded my expectations. it’s super convenient, 3 mins to state library which is also the same to Melbourne Central. lots of eateries and bubble tea and restaurant nearby. there’s always someone at the reception which makes you feel safe. the two bedroom apartment is nice as it comes with kitchenette and they are very accommodating to put two of our apartment close to each other. for the price, very worth it!

Overall, it's okay. The room is large, and the bed is very big and comfortable. The service is also good and very polite. There are two drawbacks. The first is the parking lot. It's super narrow, and it's easy to scrape the walls. There are many "stories" on the walls, so drivers should be careful. Also, there's no elevator in the parking lot. Remember to drop off your luggage at the hotel entrance before heading down to the parking lot. I was reminded by a Klook review, so thank you. The second problem is that this is truly a historic hotel, almost 30 years old. Although it has been renovated, the equipment and layout are from an older era. You can feel it, but it is clean, so don't worry.

Hotel Location: The location is within the free tram zone, which is very convenient. Cleanliness: There are housekeeping staff cleaning every day at no extra charge, and they clean very well. Service: There are front desk staff who speak Chinese, and other staff are also very friendly. They are also able to respond to problems immediately. The only thing we didn't anticipate was that we booked a two-bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen, but the rooms did not have air conditioning, and we woke up covered in sweat every day. The air conditioning in the living room only felt cool for the first two days, and after it was repaired, it still didn't cool, so we had to use the only electric fan.

The room is very nice and clean… The hotel location is very accesible to the different places in the city.
