This year's Spring Festival was already in mid-to-late February, and there has been very little snowfall in Aomori these past few days. Fortunately, I booked a private car on February 19th for Hakkoda + Oirase Stream + Lake Towada. It started to snow heavily as we entered the mountains. Although the ropeway was closed, we still had a solid day of playing in the powder snow! The joy of powder snow, who understands! Mr. Fukuda is really nice and professional. He is the most attentive, professional, and polite driver I have encountered in my many trips to Japan and many private car bookings! Because of the heavy snow, the visibility in the mountains was very low, but his driving skills were excellent. I didn't feel any impact from the weather at all. He took us to check in at every scenic spot along the Oirase Stream, and he waited by the car every time in the heavy snow for us to get in, opening and closing the doors! Thoughtful and attentive! 100 points!

During the trip, we encountered a heavy snowstorm in Aomori, and the original route could not be followed due to road closures. Fortunately, the driver provided a new plan, allowing us to fully enjoy a wonderful trip even in the snowstorm.

After completing the reservation on Klook, someone immediately contacted me via WhatsApp to arrange the itinerary. The driver was very friendly on the day, and added attractions for us when time permitted. In addition, they were able to accommodate the timing of our pre-booked restaurant and drop us off.

Because there were too many places I wanted to go that were too far away, I chose a chartered car with a custom itinerary. The driver, Mr. Fukuda, was very kind and enthusiastic, drove safely, and introduced and shared local features with us along the way. The restaurant he recommended for lunch was really great. He carefully reminded us at each attraction and thoughtfully took care of our needs and convenience. We were always able to have fun and feel at ease. Thank you so much! I sincerely recommend this Klook tour.

Apparently, it was the first day of heavy snowfall on the trip day so we couldn't see much. But Nakamura-san still drive us to Lamp No Yado onsen, which was the highlight of our trip. The snow covered mountain is so beautiful, and Nakamura-san.. What can I say? So skillful and calm the entire day. It must be so hard to drive on a snowy day, because on our way we saw a lot of cars had accident and in each scene, she stopped and helped. We were so in awe. She's one of the best driver and guide in Japan, I guess. Thank you so much, Nakamura-san! It was truly one unforgettable trip!

Since the shared ride was fully booked, I had to change to booking a private car (single person) trip. After the order was placed, the customer service staff quickly confirmed the pick-up location and time. The next day, at the agreed time, I saw the driver waiting punctually at the hotel entrance. The driver's driving was very smooth, so I didn't get carsick (I am very prone to carsickness). In addition to the Oirase Stream and Lake Towada, the driver also took me to the Jōgakura Bridge and Jigoku Numa (Hell's Pond) to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The driver also kindly offered to help take pictures at the scenic spots. The Oirase Stream route is very long, so fortunately, I had a driver to save a lot of time. When we arrived at Lake Towada, the driver also cooperated with the boat schedule to choose the location, making the trip very smooth. If I had taken public transportation myself, it would have been difficult to be so smooth, right? I am very satisfied with the whole trip 👍, and I thank the driver for the service!
