This is a fun activity to do in Hanoi as you get to learn how to cook some of their dishes. They will pick you up at your hotel, then drop you also after. Aside from prepping and cooking, we also get to experience buying from the local market. Our instructor, Maxie is really great in teaching and guiding us. The egg coffee at the end of the workshop is so good. Can't wait to try to cook this at home. Also, Rose Kitchen is very helpful when my other class - coffee brewing workshop got cancelled, they helped find another one (which is also a great class to take).

What a fun two hours of learning different coffee recipes! Piey as our coffee guide/instructor was informative. Her instructions were clear and she also gave us several tips on how to make our coffee flavors enjoyable. We had tastings of pure robusta coffee, arabica coffee, brown coffee, egg coffee, coconut coffee, and coffee liquior.
I did this as a solo traveler but I will gladly do this again with friends or family members.
I will go home with new recipes to serve to loved ones and friends.

This was such a memorable experience for me and my family. Chef Hung (Pickle) took us through how to make beef pho before bringing us through the fresh market. He was enthusiastic about showing us the different kinds of things sold there, and even let us try some delicacies. The cooking class was very informative and he was very happy to provide us with all the information we needed to make the dishes at home, even after the class. It was a great time getting to know the other people in the class as well! Would recommend for anyone travelling in Hanoi to come and try it out (:

Incredibly worthwhile to learn to cook 5 Vietnamese dishes! The small class size allowed each participant to contribute and be fully involved. Huge thanks to the instructor for the detailed explanations and demonstrations of the ingredients. Immensely grateful and highly recommend! 👍👍 The five of us were able to complete 5 dinner dishes together. Hard to believe they were as delicious as what you get at local restaurants! We made pho with beef broth, spring rolls, egg coffee, and other Vietnamese delicacies – unbelievably as tasty as what you find in small shops. Finally, we received certificates and Vietnamese recipes. Many thanks to the center's professional instructor and staff for preparing the equipment 🙏🙏. We are extremely satisfied and happy! 🥳

This was an excellent social experience, especially as a solo traveller. The feeling was like cooking a communal meal with friends in their very lovely apartment. The activities were well paced, the ingredients fresh and the time flew by. Jesse and Nancy are excellent teachers, and I have a greater level of respect for the art of making banh mi. I also really enjoyed learning how to make egg coffee and can’t wait to try out the recipie at home, especially now that I have learnt the correct amounts of coffee and water to use for the perfect shot.

It was an amazing experience ! The shop has a lot of choices to pick from and the staffs are so nice and helpful ! They let us try different dresses to be sure to find the one we like ! And the pictures turned out amazingly thanks to their makeup skills and the photographer’s hard work ! I’ll make sure to visit again someday ! 💕

I had an amazing experience at the coffee-making class! Jasmine was an incredible instructor — very skilled, bubbly, and easy to learn from. She explained everything so well and speaks English fluently, which made the whole session even more enjoyable. I especially loved her Brown Coffee recipe. I learned so much from her, and I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone visiting Hanoi. Truly an experience of a lifetime. Thank you, Jasmine!

Better than expected and i understand why Ban chan is so popular here now, our Chef Maxie was very good and she spoke her English well so we could understand her instructions. It really worth the time and effort for the price we paid for, 2 full course meal and a nice egg coffee! will definitely come back!

Teacher Noe led us to the market to buy fruits and ingredients, then returned to the cooking school to teach us how to make 2 kinds of Vietnamese spring rolls, chicken pho, green papaya salad, and egg coffee. The activity lasted approximately 4.5 hours, then we enjoyed the food and fruit together.
