Ninh Binh Day trips

I really had no idea what to expect when I booked this excursion. The trip was very well described on the website but even with that, one doesn’t really fully understand how it will all run. I was VERY pleasantly surprised with our driver, our amazing tour guide (called “T”) and the smooth operations of the trip. And that’s not even going into the magic we saw along the way. T was skilled in sharing the history and stories of all the sights we saw. It was a full day and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We had a mixture of ages in our group and T made sure all of us were tended to.

Really great experience with this tour group - Ninh binh has amazing scenery - I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Celine and Sarah were amazing at communication and ensuring we had the best service for this day trip.

Miss Lan is a wonderful person, great tour guide and even greater photographer. She answered all pur questions, explained everything on the tour and was always smiling. We covered all major attractions in Ninh Binh in one day and it was very comfortable. Definitely recommend the tour and Lan!

great experience with one minor hiccup. let me start with whats great, i love the bus driver he was kind and also attentive to the tourists cause my sister mistakenly boarded the wrong bus but he saw her and called out to her. another is that he is such a great driver that i can fall asleep and trust that we are safe. for the guide, martin is kind and helped my sister wash her wound as she fell off the bike. MY CONCERN is that theres not enough medical supply in case of emergency and why are the bikes provided with breaks that do not work? but i must say, all in all it was a very great experience and its really good for the value of your money.

We had such a wonderful experience on our Ninh Binh tour yesterday! 🇻🇳 A big thank you to Mr. Ben, our tour guide, for making the entire day fun and memorable. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and accommodating. He shared interesting stories and information about the places we visited, while also making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. We’d also like to thank Mr. Lucky, our bus driver, for getting us around safely and smoothly throughout the trip. He was very professional, careful, and punctual, which made the long day of exploring so much easier and more relaxing. Overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable tour, and we truly appreciated the effort and hospitality of the whole team. Ninh Binh was absolutely beautiful, and having Mr. Ben and Mr. Lucky with us made the experience even better. Highly recommended! This activity is well worth exploring. It started promptly, and the drive was about two hours, with a stop halfway for restrooms and food. I recommend eating breakfast before departing. The first stop was Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, where we had about 50 minutes. Remember to bring a fan and an umbrella, as it can suddenly rain heavily in Vietnam! The second stop was for lunch, which was a buffet. The food was decent; don't expect too much, it's just a buffet to fill your stomach. After lunch, our guide took us cycling. If you prefer not to cycle, you can relax at the restaurant. After lunch, we went for a boat ride. There are two locations, Trang An and Tam Coc, and we were assigned to Tam Coc. The entire experience was enjoyable. Remember to bring an umbrella. During the ride, they will try to sell you handmade paintings, but we politely declined. After getting off the boat, the boatman will ask for a tip. The third stop was Mua Caves for hiking. Since the stairs were quite wet after the rain, and we were too tired, we decided not to climb for safety reasons. We sat at the restaurant below and took some photos. I must commend our guide, Ryan; his explanations were humorous, very clear (10/10), and helpful!

Thanks to our kind and pleasant guide Binh and our safe-driving chauffeur, we had a very enjoyable and satisfying Ninh Binh tour. Guide Binh, with his fluent English and extensive historical knowledge, helped us fully understand the historical background of Vietnam related to the ancient sites. In Trang An, we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery from a boat. The climb up Hang Mua was tough and left us completely drenched in sweat, but the beautiful view from the top was a more than sufficient reward. If you're considering this tour, don't hesitate, just GO for it. Thank you, Binh.

Originally, we were scheduled for the White Temple and Chang'an tour, but it turned out we had to wait for about an hour in the village before Wolong Mountain for tourists who were joining the Wolong Mountain tour. Luckily, there was a massage parlor nearby, so we had a good hour of rest. When the big bus came back to pick us up, the other tourists on the bus were exhausted, but for us, this rest was actually more suitable, haha. I also want to commend the experienced tour guide, who had a good understanding of the local history, culture, and the perspectives of the indigenous residents. They distributed raincoats before the heavy rain started, and just as we put them on, a strong passing shower arrived. This foresight and preparation helped lighten the burden for tourists, and even with the unstable weather, the guide continued to explain everything with a smile.

We traveled from Hanoi's Old Quarter by bus, transferring a couple of times, for about three hours. The bus ride there and back was very comfortable, with charging ports for phones, complimentary water, and massage chairs. The tour started with a breathtaking river cruise! It's definitely a must-do! Next, climbing the mountain was quite challenging. I recommend wearing pants, sneakers, or sandals with good heel support, and bringing a backpack. Choosing the half-day tour was the right decision! I was initially torn because the full-day tour was only about 2,000 yen more, but considering the three-hour one-way travel time and how tiring it can be, I think the half-day tour is better. Our tour guide, Lan, was also very kind and charming, and thanks to her, we enjoyed ourselves until the very end. Thank you for a wonderful time!
