Do it! This was so much fun, Danny was a delight, great way to see some of Hà Noi. Felt very safe the whole time, Danny was able to answer all of my questions and I got an informative insight into Vietnam and its people. The food and coffee provided were delicious! Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed the tour and our guide Nam. We were surprised that the tour was in English + Russian, as Nam speaks it at a very good level. It was unexpected. We had a fun time. This was my first trip on a motorbike, I was worried, but everything went safely.
John was really great! Friendly and informative! Tour took us to the banana and guava trees, plus we saw some pomelo trees! Making pottery was really hard but seeing how the master did it was so effortlessly! The cafe for lunch was great! just right amount of food and great atmosphere!
Great tour. Get out of the city and see some of the rural countryside. John was an excellent guide. See and taste some of the fruits grown on the small farms. See where beautiful and expensive ceramic pottery is made. Give the pottery wheel a spin and test your own pottery making skills. Take a walk through a rural village and learn about its history. John is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. His English skills is impressive. Sample some delicious Vietnamese dishes too. well worth the money. I highly recommend this tour.
It was an amazing experience exploring the lesser-known parts of Hanoi. The motorbike ride was thrilling, and our guide, Chris was friendly and passionate. The visit to the local ceramics factory was eye-opening, giving us a deep insight into the preservation of this unique craft. A true highlight of the tour was visiting a local home and learning about daily life there—it was an invaluable experience. The trip wrapped up with a meal at Hidden Gem concepts, offering delicious food that’s hard to find anywhere else in the city.
Starting from a hidden cafe, this tour starts with a perfect meal. The food prepared by a former 5-star hotel chef will make you feel the pinnacle of Vietnamese cuisine. My guide Duc speaks perfect English and his driving is dynamic and safe. Every place we visit, such as the pottery village, the old house, and the oldest bridge, was a very valuable experience. If you want to buy pottery, prepare extra space in your bag.
This is a wonderful trip that can explore the country side of Hanoi. Duc is an excellent tour guide and gave us a very details explanation . H is also a good driver and they both a dual companion for this trip.
Since it was only in Hanoi for 5 days, I wanted to have a special experience, so I went on the 'Hanoi Countryside Vintage Mint Motorcycle Tour'. I also went to a pottery village called Bat Trang ♡ Even though I didn't have it, it was nice to experience making it. Before going, I had a quick stop at Gem cafe, which has a really pretty interior. We had a meal. It was in a corner, so it might have been hard to find if you weren't local, but it was good. The guide, Louis, was really friendly and spoke English very well. ^^ He explained everything well and asked if I had any more questions. Bob, my driver, spoke English better than other drivers, so it was okay. He also drove very safely!!! Although he doesn't speak English well, we talked to each other as we moved around. An old man I know who lives in Bat Trang village. I went to your house, talked to you, and tasted the alcohol you made with rice. It was quite delicious. You can think of it as Cheongju alcohol. Thanks to you, it was a really special and enjoyable time. I would like to give it 10, 100 stars, not 5 stars.🌟 *** By the way, sunglasses are a must. The sun is strong and you can't ignore the wind and dust. I didn't bring them, so I think I closed my eyes half of the time haha.
Hanoi Countryside Motorbike Tour, Vietnam. It was an amazing half day experience, full of joy, exchanging stories and experience, great team from Hanoi Backstreet Tours making sure we are comfortable esp with young kids onboard, unlocking their fear and ensuring kids felt safe to come out from their comfort zone and feel the joy of seeing places via bike. Morning breeze thru the Red River Bridge, visit to the pottery factory, moulding clay into a beautiful art using creativity and freedom of expression, exploring local communal hall at Bat Trang, enjoying local sugar cane and corn and finishing off with amazing Vietnamese egg chocolate coffee, iced Vietnamese coffee and TJ… being TJ closing lunch session with Vietnamese wedding liquor 🤣.
One of my best ever trips, I truely enjoy the trip. Both guides, Jack and Bob are very friendly and provide lots of explanation during the visit...and the food are great too😊
