I really had no idea what to expect when I booked this excursion. The trip was very well described on the website but even with that, one doesn’t really fully understand how it will all run. I was VERY pleasantly surprised with our driver, our amazing tour guide (called “T”) and the smooth operations of the trip. And that’s not even going into the magic we saw along the way. T was skilled in sharing the history and stories of all the sights we saw. It was a full day and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We had a mixture of ages in our group and T made sure all of us were tended to.

Really great experience with this tour group - Ninh binh has amazing scenery - I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Celine and Sarah were amazing at communication and ensuring we had the best service for this day trip.

Miss Lan is a wonderful person, great tour guide and even greater photographer. She answered all pur questions, explained everything on the tour and was always smiling. We covered all major attractions in Ninh Binh in one day and it was very comfortable. Definitely recommend the tour and Lan!

great experience with one minor hiccup. let me start with whats great, i love the bus driver he was kind and also attentive to the tourists cause my sister mistakenly boarded the wrong bus but he saw her and called out to her. another is that he is such a great driver that i can fall asleep and trust that we are safe. for the guide, martin is kind and helped my sister wash her wound as she fell off the bike. MY CONCERN is that theres not enough medical supply in case of emergency and why are the bikes provided with breaks that do not work? but i must say, all in all it was a very great experience and its really good for the value of your money.

This activity is well worth exploring. It started promptly, and the drive was about two hours, with a stop halfway for restrooms and food. I recommend eating breakfast before departing. The first stop was Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, where we had about 50 minutes. Remember to bring a fan and an umbrella, as it can suddenly rain heavily in Vietnam! The second stop was for lunch, which was a buffet. The food was decent; don't expect too much, it's just a buffet to fill your stomach. After lunch, our guide took us cycling. If you prefer not to cycle, you can relax at the restaurant. After lunch, we went for a boat ride. There are two locations, Trang An and Tam Coc, and we were assigned to Tam Coc. The entire experience was enjoyable. Remember to bring an umbrella. During the ride, they will try to sell you handmade paintings, but we politely declined. After getting off the boat, the boatman will ask for a tip. The third stop was Mua Caves for hiking. Since the stairs were quite wet after the rain, and we were too tired, we decided not to climb for safety reasons. We sat at the restaurant below and took some photos. I must commend our guide, Ryan; his explanations were humorous, very clear (10/10), and helpful!

Dahil sa kabaitan at kasayahang dala ng aming gabay na si Binh at sa ligtas na pagmamaneho ng aming driver, naging napakasaya at kasiya-siya ang aming Ninh Binh tour. Si Binh, ang aming gabay, ay may matatas na Ingles at malawak na kaalaman sa kasaysayan, kaya't lubos naming naunawaan ang makasaysayang konteksto ng Vietnam na may kaugnayan sa mga lugar. Sa Trang An, lubos naming nasiyahan ang magandang tanawin habang nakasakay sa bangka. Bagama't mahirap at pinawisan kami sa pag-akyat sa Hang Mua, sapat na ang ganda ng tanawin mula sa tuktok upang maging sulit ang lahat. We traveled from Hanoi's Old Quarter by bus, transferring a couple of times, for about three hours. The bus ride there and back was very comfortable, with charging ports for phones, complimentary water, and massage chairs. The tour started with a breathtaking river cruise! It's definitely a must-do! Next, climbing the mountain was quite challenging. I recommend wearing pants, sneakers, or sandals with good heel support, and bringing a backpack. Choosing the half-day tour was the right decision! I was initially torn because the full-day tour was only about 2,000 yen more, but considering the three-hour one-way travel time and how tiring it can be, I think the half-day tour is better. Our tour guide, Lan, was also very kind and charming, and thanks to her, we enjoyed ourselves until the very end. Thank you for a wonderful time!

A truly unforgettable trip to Ninh Binh, and we especially recommend our tour guide, Duy Anh (Arthur)! Yesterday's day trip to Ninh Binh left us with wonderful memories. The scenery, history, and culture of Ninh Binh are stunning in themselves, but what truly made this journey even more spectacular was our tour guide, Duy Anh (Arthur). Arthur is an incredibly professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and patient guide. Throughout the trip, he introduced us to Vietnam's history, culture, architecture, religion, and local life in a vivid and easy-to-understand manner. This allowed us to do more than just "see the sights"; we truly began to understand Vietnam. I particularly appreciate his sense of responsibility and meticulousness. Before each activity, he clearly explained the meeting point, time, safety precautions, and the upcoming arrangements. He also made sure that everyone in the group was keeping up. Whether it was visiting historical sites, hiking, cycling, or the boat trip in Trang An, everything was perfectly organized, making us feel at ease throughout the journey. What's even more remarkable is that Arthur is very sincere, friendly, and respectful towards travelers. He never made us feel pressured to spend money; instead, he genuinely wanted everyone to enjoy Ninh Binh and learn about Vietnam. This natural and genuine approach left a very deep impression on us. Arthur also told us that his name is Duy Anh, but calling him Arthur is easier to remember, just like King Arthur from the legendary Camelot. 😊 This became a lovely little memory from our trip. Many thanks to Arthur for giving us such a fulfilling, enjoyable, and unforgettable day. Meeting such a wonderful guide is a fortunate part of any trip. We highly recommend this Ninh Binh itinerary, and especially recommend our guide, Arthur! 🇻🇳❤️
