Reviews
Our driver and tour guide, Abu, was incredibly kind and provided excellent service. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the trip, and the itinerary and timing were perfectly arranged. The overall pace was well-managed, never feeling rushed, yet making full use of our time, allowing everyone to enjoy themselves thoroughly and relax. The trip's itinerary was very smooth, and the routes were direct, which was a huge help for travelers like us who weren't driving. We didn't have to worry about transportation or directions, allowing us to easily visit famous attractions like Kamikochi, Shirakawa-go, and Takayama, and simply enjoy the journey. During the tour, Abu even made sure to allocate extra time for us to explore at a leisurely pace, so we never felt rushed. He was also very accommodating to all the requests from our group members, which made the entire trip run very smoothly. What impressed us most was his thoughtfulness: when he noticed everyone was resting or sleeping during the drive, he would intentionally slow down the car so we could sleep more peacefully. These seemingly small details made a huge difference for us, especially traveling with two young children. It truly showed Abu's dedication and care for his group members, making us feel very secure throughout the journey. Additionally, Abu assisted us with hotel transfers, making the entire trip even more convenient and stress-free. We are very grateful for Abu's meticulous service and thoughtful arrangements throughout the trip, which made us feel very comfortable and created wonderful travel memories! We highly recommend Abu and this tour, and we look forward to traveling with him again in the future!
We had a small group of 7 for the tour and the driver was very nice to arrange to pick us up from our hotel. He was very friendly and kind enough to explain to us the recommended route and attraction for every location. Itinerary ran very smooth even though we would prefer to have more time at each place for our travel style. Our Hotel was Hotel Around in Takayama which was brand new with a public onsen. One of the most comfortable we had in Japan! Driver had solid driving skills and it was super convenient and affordable for our family, would recommend this as a entry level tour to the area!
It was a very good experience, the scenery was beautiful, and the itinerary was well-planned. Our tour guide, Abu, was very familiar with the local area and provided us with great assistance. Thank you!
Director Mei was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for helping us take so many great photos ☺️
Our driver, Xiao Wu, was very attentive. He adjusted the schedule according to our needs and provided hotel pick-up and drop-off. He took great care of everyone's needs, including the elderly and children in our group. The service was excellent. The only minor issue was that the 10-seater vehicle was a bit old; it would have been even better if the car could be upgraded. The 4-star hotel we booked was quite good. Overall, it was good value for money.
The itinerary stated a stay at the 4-star Hida Takayama Green Hotel, but we actually stayed at the 3-star Route Inn Grantia. This is a huge discrepancy! There's a difference in room rates.
