Location is excellent, just a short walk to Ximending night market and close to the MRT station, which made exploring very easy. The hotel facilities maybe a bit old but everything was clean and well maintained. What stood out was the unique theme: the interiors are designed to feel like you’re inside a ship, which perfectly matches the hotel’s name. This is for travelers who want comfort and character near Ximending.

This hotel is located in Ximending so better to stay here if you want to shop and explore. A lot of 7-11 stores around the area. Also, near MRT station. Also, the hotel is clean and most of the cleaners are Filipinos.

Although i hear flushing toilet from the other room but its fine with me. The inn has clean and Comfy bed, enough space, spacious comfort room, comfy place and most of all MRT Exit 2 is just in front and ximending is just a few steps away, what a great location! we had a great stay!

Great hotel! Centrally Located hotel in the heart of ximending. Near restaurants and food carts and shopping.

The room is small, well-designed, and has good lighting. It also has a separate shower and toilet. Unfortunately, the onsen is only for female guests, so male guests can't use it, and I didn't get to see it. If it's due to space limitations, I suggest offering it to female guests on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and to male guests on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This way, everyone can use it. It's also a pity that the lounge was booked by a group and not open for use, so I didn't get to see it either. I hope I can use it next time I stay here.

perfect hotel to stay especially for the first timer and travelling solo. near ximending night market and mrt station just less than 5min walk. the staff are very nice, they have unlimited snacks in their pantry. checking in and checking out process was very smooth. the room was perfect for me as solo traveler. i booked standard room and it was spacious. the bed was clean, all the corners of the room was so clean. especially the bathroom. i like the window i have a view of the city. perfect hotel to stay.

We stayed at Hotel Puri Ximen from December 22–26, 2025 and truly loved our stay. I booked two Economy Double Rooms with no window in July since the larger room was unavailable for our group of four. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and cleaned daily. Free water, coffee, and tea were a nice touch. Room 605’s bathroom was a bit small 😅, there’s a heater but no bidet, so we brought a portable dipper, but our companions’ bathroom was more spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and all staff were kind, approachable, and helpful. The location is perfect, just a few steps from Ximen Exit 6, making exploring Taipei easy. Overall, we had a great stay, and if our budget allows, we would definitely stay here again on our next Taiwan trip.Highly recommended
