Value for money as it becomes cheaper to use this pass than to pay the train fare to Uji. Used this pass to just get from Osaka to Uji. Didn't have the time to explore everything the pass offers

You have to go to the ticket exchange area at Kyoto Station to queue up and exchange it for a physical ticket. If you need to achieve HARUKA, you can just buy this.

When going to Himeji, you must buy it and get a free Hankyu-Hanshin Kyoto subway ticket. You can pre-wire it at the airport and use the green JR machine to reserve your own seat. It is highly recommended.

Using Kyoto as your accommodation, you can travel to and from Uji, Nara, Kobe, and Osaka within three days, saving at least half of the transportation costs, plus 3 free e-sims. The whole package is really cost-effective, and I recommend it to friends who plan to go to Kansai.
