Kokedera Temple (Saihōji) tours

Ben was our tour guide, friendly kind and well thought guide. He shared us a lot of tips and history of the location. the trip include a train, which you can see river and beautiful scene. and then boat rafting for 2 hours, enjoy various level of water ride, please note that you might be get wet. lastly 2 hours self exploration bamboo, shrine, shoplots etc.

I would like to thank our guide, Rex, for this amazing experience. We have enjoyed this very much. He has been very considerate, thoughtful, and helpful. We recommend this to everyone. Jackson is a very caring and helpful tour guide. I have joined tours in other countries before, but this is the first guide who shared the pickup location and pickup time for every stop through WhatsApp/LINE with a map. It was very convenient and easy to follow. He is also very friendly and always offers to help take photos. It was a wonderful day... Even though I went alone, I didn’t feel lonely—everyone worked together as a great team, and the guide was helpful with everything, from tourist attractions and food to taking photos. The places were absolutely beautiful!! I’ll definitely go again with friends, my partner, and family next time.

Before my trip to Osaka, I started diligently searching for tours a month in advance, thinking that even though it's summer, I should experience the beauty and tours of traditional Japan. After watching vlogs and reading tour reviews, I found this particular tour, as many suggested that 'about three locations a day seems appropriate.' Our guide, Mr. Oh Seok-bong, led our tour, and I felt confident in his abilities when he introduced himself in various languages after we boarded the bus. He precisely highlighted the key cultural aspects of Japan and the main points of interest at each location, allowing us to efficiently visit the places we wanted to see! The tour concluded as a satisfying experience, thanks to his restaurant recommendations and engaging commentary throughout. If I get the chance to take another tour in the future, I'd love to have Mr. Oh Seok-bong as my guide again!!!😆 Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!!!

it was such an honor and a great experience. Definitely worth the money. We had fun as Ai was such an excellent guide. She provided nuances between Maiko and Geiko, correcting the preconceived notions given by the movie, Memoirs of a Geisha, and being an excellent entrepreter. Umemai-san, the maiko that performed for us, was very amazing. For someone so young to be able to perform for us with great confidence and answer all of our questions, she was just superb. Great job for GuideMe Japan Team for arranging this tour!

This is a must do when in Kyoto and have little time. My 70 year old mon and I joined tour. Majo and Tim were just fantastic! We saw 3 major, incredible Kyoto sites, received macha ice cream, tasted saki, and took several photos. My mom did the hike to Iwatayama mountain, bring good shoes, water. Luckily we had the best weather. Wouldn’t recommend in high, hot temperatures for children and elderly.

I had really fun on this tour and I feel like for the price that I paid, I got to do a lot of the must-sees in Japan. The tour guide, which I forgot his name 🥲, was really funny and engaging. He offered to take photos for each group and he knew how to speak English, Chinese, and Japanese. Also, I'm glad that I was able to upgrade to have a lunch even though I didn't originally buy it through Klook. I feel like if I didn't have food reserved before, I would have spent less time in one of the areas. Overall, I would definitely do this tour again in the future.
