Kyoto National Museum tours

I was the only customer on the tour day. Ben is a very nice guide with good knowledge about Kyoto and took me to a few places that I might not think about visiting while travelling Kyoto. It was a pretty interesting experience to bike around Kyoto at night time, especially in a heavy rainy day 😄. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks Ben!

Our tour guide Zoya gave us the most amazing experience, very knowledgeable about Kyoto and surrounding areas, made the bus ride very fun with facts and jokes, I would highly recommend! we had more then enough time to explore and get the photos we needed 💯

We did a similar walk last year but this one was with a smaller group and we went to some different areas so it was nicer. Our guide Alejandro was excellent, his knowledge of the area was great and he was happy to answer any questions. all in all it was an enjoyable 2 hrs walking tour and excellent value for money.

What a magnificent day! We are still talking about this wonderful trip. Our guide, Laura, was absolutely fantastic! She was very articulate, knowledgeable, and shared lovely and interesting stories about each place we visited. She really made the whole experience extra special. The trip was perfectly organised from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, and we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy each location without ever feeling rushed. Ending the day with a boat trip was the perfect finishing touch! Our bus driver was also wonderful—very friendly and professional, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. In mid-September, I traveled to Japan with my parents and husband for a 6-day, 5-night trip—2 days in Kyoto and 3 days in Osaka. During our two days in Kyoto, we barely managed to see a single place. Between the transportation, the fact that my parents had to walk a lot, and the extremely hot and humid weather, we were exhausted. However, right after moving to Osaka, we booked a one-day tour of Kyoto and Nara, and met guide Oh Seok-bong the next day. He was so kind and friendly, and he shared everything in a group chat: Japanese culture and history, must-try foods at convenience stores, must-try coffee in Kyoto, and great restaurants in Osaka. We were so grateful. I used to live in Japan, but this was a time when I learned many new aspects of the country that I hadn't known back then. Especially since we could comfortably ride a bus to see all the famous places in a single day, both my husband and parents were extremely satisfied with the tour. After arriving at a destination by bus, we were given 1 to 2 hours of free time, allowing us to sightsee at a leisurely pace. There was plenty of time for lunch, everything felt relaxed, and it was an itinerary I would love to use again. I highly recommend it. Thank you, guide Oh Seok-bong.

Our tour guide, who could switch between Chinese, Japanese, and English, and also spoke Korean, made sure every group member was taken care of. It was a huge benefit not having to research the history and stories of each attraction ourselves. They offered pre-ordered lunch, which allowed us more time to explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surroundings, and the food was quite good. The itinerary was well-paced for the limited time (however, this tour is not suitable for travelers who prefer to savor sights slowly or spend a lot of time taking photos, as the time allotted for Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine doesn't allow for walking the entire Senbon Torii path!). The tour bus was clean and tidy, and the ride was smooth and steady. I'm prone to motion sickness and usually sleep on buses, and I didn't wake up due to poor driving.

This is a great way to see Gion. Since most of the crowds are there during the day, the night time is the perfect time to go. Plus, if you get Jasmine, you will have an incredibly knowledgeable guide. Totally worth the money!
