Matsumoto Castle Park tours

The tour was such a fascinating experience. Devin is definitely a recommended guide. He is very knowledgeable about the places we visited and was prepared to share additional info, showing us pictures from his mobile. Devin is friendly and since it was just me and my son for the tour, he gave us options for lunch. We chose to have lunch in the van while heading to Narai Juku and that gave us extra time to enjoy a lovely walk and old house visit while listening to the interesting history about the post town. We totally enjoyed the whole day tour! Arigatou gozaimashita Devin! (And we did go back to see the Castle light up show that evening)

You could tell Jens put a lot of thought into every little detail, especially when planning the tour around the weather. He was patient, engaging, and really intentional with how he guided and took care of us. 10/10 would recommend!

Our guide (Tom) was very welcoming and engaging during the entire tour. Tom’s way of delivering information combined with his sense of humour made for a memorable and fun experience. He also gave great suggestions of places to visit during the rest of our stay in Japan.

This is the most scenic place I've been. The weather was just nice for a leisurely hike. Temperature hovers around 18 degree celsius in early June and I didn't even break a sweat throughout the 3hrs hike. For those who wants to visit the Myojin shrine from the starting point at Taisho pond, do hasten your pace as there will just be enough time to finish the route back to to the bus terminal, without much time for lunch. For those who just want to take it easy, its recommended to stop at Kappa bridge which takes about 1.5h from starting point. Most of the scenic spots are from Taisho to Kappa bridge. It's the one place that you'll want to visit in every season.

the tour guide which is the owner of the factory speaks very good english and is very clear in his explantion. the food served was delicious. definitely recommend to any one who likes to know more about miso and taste the food

We had an incredible time on the Kamikochi tour! Our guide, Shin, was exceptionally knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about Matsumoto and its castle, even using pictures slides for clarity. The breathtaking views of the Alps and vibrant autumn foliage during our walk in Kamikochi left us in awe. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience Japan’s natural beauty and rich history! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
