Things to do in Xi'an

The hotel pickup was well organized, and the tour bus was clean and well maintained. Our tour guide, Hao Hao, gave us a clear overview of the day’s itinerary and expectations. He went into great detail about the history, which made the experience very informative. His communication skills were excellent, and he also had a good sense of humor that kept everyone engaged and laughing. Overall, it was a pleasant and well-conducted tour, and I gained a much better understanding of the history of Xi’an. However, in my opinion, the optional “Exploring the Sleeping Imperial Mausoleum” experience (RMB 188 per person) was not worthwhile. It included a cable car ride and listening to the story, but there was nothing much to see, and the whole experience lasted only about 20 minutes. 😔 But overall we enjoyed the day tour

It was an insightful, informative and amazing experience visiting Terracotta Warriors. Alisa is a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all the questions from the participants today. The tour starts from 9am and ends at 3pm & also includes lunch I.e Biang Biang noodles. The tour covers 3 pits and a museum & thereafter you can continue to shop or go for their VR experience (CNY100/pax). We took the latter and it encapsulates what Alisa had shared with us throughout the tour. The VR helps with the visualization and you feel as if you’re right there in the Qin dynasty! The entire place itself mimics the layout of the area back in the olden days. The VR is also in English and you can follow through the historical journey! Ample shopping in the surrounding area and lots of food too inclusive of halal options. I’ve learnt a lot thru Alisa today and would recommend her as your English tour guide. Thanks Alisa’

The tour was very good but extremely tiring. We traveled from the west to the north in the morning, and it took a few hours to make our way down. The views were absolutely amazing, yet also quite terrifying at times, as some of the steps were very steep and required constant caution. This tour is definitely not recommended for the elderly, as it demands a lot of movement, strength, and careful footing to complete the climb. Although the trip was cold and nerve-racking, the breathtaking scenery—and the many cats you’ll encounter along the way—made the entire journey 100% worth it.

Excellent service. They arrived on time as scheduled near the hotel. I don't speak Chinese, but using a translation app was no problem. You don't have to walk with the tour group the whole time. You can walk around on your own and meet up with the group at the designated time and place at the Starbucks exit.

The Shaanxi Museum Guide Ms Nana was very knowledgeable and explained the exhibit at Hall 4, 6 and 7 in details to us. The whole tour took abt 3hrs. For the camel bell show, we enjoyed it very much and the driver pick us up and drop us off at the hotel. Both segments were planned well and the agent contacted me one day in advance via WA with the details. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible experience on the Xi’an Terracotta Army and Imperial Bath tour, and I want to especially commend our guide, Fiona, and the driver for making the day truly memorable. Fiona’s knowledge and passion for the history of the Terracotta Army brought the site to life, offering fascinating insights and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. Her storytelling made the visit engaging and educational, and she ensured everyone in our group felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the tour. The driver was equally impressive, providing a smooth, safe, and timely journey. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the driver’s professionalism added to the overall positive experience. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations thanks to Fiona’s expertise and the driver’s excellent service. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Xi’an who wants to explore the Terracotta Army and relax at the Imperial Bath with knowledgeable and friendly guides. 💋💗

The Terracotta army did not disappoint was amazing to see in situ. once there you can pay to be taken up to the main area if dont want a long walk. well mapped out. unfortunately you have to walk back (unless we missed it) and its a long walk but through a huge food /shopping area

A must-see show when visiting Xi'an! The stage and visual effects are different and more shocking than anything I've ever seen before! I highly recommend purchasing VIP seats – you'll need to buckle up! Because the entire row of seats moves, creating an immersive atmosphere within the theater. I loved it! The segment from "蒹葭 (Jianjia)" in the Book of Songs - Qin Feng, combined with the stage design and dancers' performance, is as beautiful as a painting! An unforgettable experience.

The stage production and the performance is amazing. Best to understand the story before going to the show so that you are able to have a clearly understanding on the overall performance. The show is outdoor so it will be cold during winter, just have to keep yourself warm.
