Things to do in Xi'an

it was on summer discount so it was definitely worth it. guide was very knowledgeable and patient. only downside was that the lunch provided was very average, definitely could've been better, and also they could've at least provided a bottle of water.

this is good for elders or with kids that you cannot climb much but still want to enjoy the scenery. very easy cable car up and down. well paved, however the signage not very clear but you can ask the locals. this route you can see the west/ south/ east/ centre peak. but again you can decide or just only the west peak. but note that even if you have completed trip. the internal transfer bus, will need to wait for enough people before they set off for your transfer to the bus to return to city. my gf took this route due to health reasons. she ended almost the same time of probably an hr earlier than us back to city. she had enjoyed and a nice one.

What an excellent tour! I had such a great experience on this half-day Terracotta Warriors tour. My tour guide, Rainey, was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet, friendly, and communicative throughout the entire experience, especially when it came to coordinating the hotel pickup and drop-off. Rainey was also incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history and significance of the Terracotta Warriors in a way that was interesting and easy to follow. She made the entire experience feel seamless and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Rainey as your guide!

The tour communicated with us 2days before. The driver and guide are very punctual. Our guide 陈芳is very details and engaging. As we have kids travelling with us, she is so patient and give us quiz to keep my children entertain. The car given is so spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this tour if you only have limited day in Xi'an.

A single imperial banquet, half of Tang Dynasty history. The singing and dancing revolving around Tang Dynasty history were spectacular in every act. For over an hour, there was never a dull moment, whether it was the performances or the food. It truly felt like traveling back to the Tang Dynasty and personally attending a grand feast. Our family group of 10 recently booked the Xi'an Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum Ticket for a private tour, and we were absolutely delighted with the experience! Managing a large family group is no easy task, but our tour guide, Miss Jing, handled us flawlessly from start to finish. Her knowledge of the Qin Terracotta Army site is truly unmatched. Miss Jing was incredibly meticulous in explaining every single detail, bringing the rich history and scale of the warriors to life. She was patient, accommodating, and made sure everyone in our family was captivated the entire time. Outstanding service and a massive thumbs up from all ten of us. We are so glad we booked this private tour and highly recommend requesting Miss Jing as your guide!

Booking on Klook is easy. I booked the first show (8.10pm in June) Central District. Different timing in different timing, because they need to wait for sun to set. Seat number was stated on the paper ticket and I was on the last row. Still decent view I feel. A show with combination of laser, lights, water, fire and of course the performers. Show your passport/ID to exchange for physical tickets at ticketing counter. Pass through security scanning in two separate lines (male and female). Enter the seating area by following the signage. Different area has different stairs, your ticket will indicate 单/双. Many people but crowd clears fast. Plenty of leg room in front of the seats (enough space for people to walk comfortably in front of the seats) If possible, arrive earlier as there are some 'talkshows' before the actual performance start.

This museum is well known extremely difficult to get ticket, appreciate the local travel agent to get the Tang Dynasty Mural Hall which allows direct entry to main hall.

The audience seating moves 220 meters, not just the stage, creating an immersive experience as if you're living in the Qin Dynasty. The quality, including the stage direction, music, projection mapping, and the actors' skills, is truly top-tier. I felt it was worth traveling to Xi'an just to see this production. I want to visit again.
