Xi'an Day trips

guide Ruby is good and friendly - she will ask if we want to join the VX experience of underground palace - which is a AI tomb of Emperor Qin. additional cost of RMB150 which I think is ok but does not justify the price we paid. I’d rather spend the time walking around the town alone. it’s one of those things that guides do for extra income so it’s understandable. the Everlasting Sorrow show is a must! the seat we got is middle seat. I think watching the second show is better but which means will finish late. we watched the 8.10pm show and we got back to the hotel by 10.30pm. huaqing palace is more like a man made palace with the old pools in place. I would say overall a good trip. low peak season but the terracotta was packed!

If you are going to Xi’an and currently considering to join the tour or in between several tour options, TRUST MEEEE just join this one. If you are not staying near Bell Tower, Bell Tower Hotel is very very easy to locate, the drive back and forth was smooth, the trip itself was amaaaaaazing with Chelsea as the guide❤️ would 10/10 recommend this tour! (not to mention, the lunch was great and abundant!)

欣欣 is an interesting guide. though we are lost at times, she is responsive and quick to ensure we are not unfound. the place is interactive, with many pits of the terracotta to be found and see.

It was a truly enjoyable experience. Tickets are usually very difficult to get, but I was able to purchase them easily and affordably, and the guide was incredibly kind. Any minor communication difficulties were easily resolved with Papago. If you come to Xi'an, I believe the Shaanxi History Museum is a must-visit, provided you can secure a reservation. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Excellent tour by Grace and appreciate getting the tickets for the museum which are hard to get. Grace provided a huge amount of detailed information and history from the Shanxi Dynasties. We managed to see multiple ancient relics! Highly reccomended !

pick up was a bit chaotic as there was only a Chinese guide. but then we stopped at a second gathering spot in Xi’an where there was an English guide. he explained the trails etc. going up west and going down north is the easiest way, as it’s mostly down hill. any moderate fit person can do it. they provide small lunch and small breakfast. they did have us pay an extra 50yuan for a gps and insurance they said. as it’s just a guide for the transfer to the mountain and you do the hike by yourself nobody gave tips at the end.

We provided a comprehensive guide for tourists who wanted to visit Mount Hua. A car picked us up near the hotel, and once everyone was gathered, we set off. All cable car and shuttle bus fees were included. Our guide, Guoguo, explained everything very clearly and even added some humor. This allowed us to assess our own abilities before ascending the mountain and successfully complete the trip.

Guide was helpful and friendly. Kept looking out for a spot for me to look at the pit as I am short. Convenient pickup for transport if staying at Bell Tower area.
