the shifen water fall is the best , i wish we could have just skipped the cats and spend more tome in shifen water falls but over all its good! the tour guide let me borrow the umbrella

APR. 19, 2026 🛤️ Jinguashi ✖️ Gold Museum Traveling with the Textbook: Fourth Grade Social Studies… Finally (◐‿◑) We started at the Golden Waterfall. Although Jingzai initially wanted to drive right past it, You proactively suggested, "Aren't we going to get out and take pictures?" Mom instantly understood this was a signal to "take photos," so the whole family immediately pulled over. Next, we visited the "Four-Joined-Houses": Looking at the layout of the Japanese dormitories, we discussed how people lived and went about their daily lives there back then. We also got to touch the "220-kilogram gold brick" with our own hands. The weight and value were astonishing‼️ Then came the important "gold panning experience." After watching the instructional video, the siblings put it into practice and felt completely immersed in the experience. Finally, the whole family put on hard hats and became miners 👷, walking into the damp, dark Benshan No. 5 Tunnel. Inside the tunnel, there was the sound of dripping water and a sense of oppression, but also gold—shhh 🤫 Turning the words from a textbook into the scenery before our eyes, the biggest reward wasn't gaining more knowledge, but seeing the sparkle in the children's eyes—it was a surprise and connection that transformed "I've read about it" into "I've seen it, I've felt it" ♥️

I really love the local vibe of this shop. I enjoyed sipping tea while wearing beautiful traditional clothes. The staff were incredibly lovely, friendly, and always smiling. They took great care of me. There were also cute cats, and the desserts were delicious, with a lovely tea aroma. The tea itself tasted wonderful. I wasn't feeling well, but after a few sips of tea, I felt much better. The shop's atmosphere is warm, clean, and very comforting. I definitely want to go back again! 💖🫶🏻🍵😍🥰

we have exhausting but fun day. Our tour guide, Sir Allan Lai, is patient and friendly eventhough my mother and I are always last. He also take good pictures, he take pictures of us whether a person yravles solo or with gamily or friends. You don't need to think how you will have a picture good picture of yourself. He also takes picture of the location so you can focus on appreciating the nature.

I had such a wonderful experience on the Jiufen tour, and a big part of it was because of our amazing tour guide, Franny! She was so friendly, bubbly, and helpful throughout the whole trip. She shared interesting information about Jiufen and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating she was. Thank you, Franny, for making my first Jiufen experience so memorable! I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re visiting Taiwan for the first time. 💕🇹🇼

Wonderful and well-organized tour! Yehliu, Yin & Yang Sea, Shifen, and Jiufen were all beautiful places to visit. Special thanks to our guide Kevin Chang for making the trip so enjoyable. He was friendly, helpful, and shared many interesting facts throughout the journey. Highly recommended, especially with guide Kevin Chang... If you want great photos & videos for social media, definitely choose KEVIN CHANG. He is very skilled at photography & videography and captured lot of of amazing photos & videos for us, He never tires of capturing amazing clicks and voluntarily took a lot of photos. Truly brilliant... Highly recommended...

Yesterday, I visited Jiufen after a long time. The only difference this time was that I had booked a Qipao experience. I searched online and found "CHIPAO Jiufen Qipao Rental." Reservations are required in advance! On the day of the experience, the shop environment was small, simple, and clear. The owner, a kind lady, first let us choose our favorite Qipao styles. Let me just say... those who have trouble making decisions are in luck, haha! The owner gave us advice on the Qipaos and quickly and accurately picked out beautiful Qipaos from the rack based on her professional judgment! I still recommend that friends who want to try this do some research beforehand so you don't spend too much time choosing a Qipao. Although the rental period for this Qipao shop is very long (return by 7:00 PM at the latest!), you should spend your time taking beautiful photos! After choosing our outfits, the owner styled our hair into simple updos to match our Qipaos. The online description mentioned simple long hair updos. Although it said "simple," I personally think it was anything but simple. The owner meticulously styled beautiful updos, allowing all the girls to have wonderful memories in Jiufen. After styling our hair, the owner recommended small accessories nearby for us to wear. You can choose them yourself or politely ask the owner for suggestions. Of course, everyone can also bring their own before the experience day. Once the clothes were ready, it was time to choose suitable embroidered shoes. The shop provides black invisible socks, which you can keep! I recommend not choosing embroidered shoes that are too tight, as you'll be climbing some stairs in Jiufen Old Street, and tight shoes might make your feet uncomfortable. The owner also recommended some great photo spots for reference. As June begins, the weather is gradually getting hotter. The shop also provides small bags for the furry shawls, in case you get heatstroke, haha. The weather can be hot, but you must look beautiful! Before leaving the shop to go sightseeing, the shop offers temporary storage for your belongings. You can also switch to a small bag provided by the shop to match your Qipao. Since you haven't paid a storage fee to the shop, be sure to keep your valuables with you. Finally, thank you to the owner for giving us such wonderful memories and service, and thank you, Jiufen, for being so beautiful and amazing!
