Alishan was a beautiful experience and have a lot to offer. However, this is not that recommended for seniors since there are many steps needed. The way going to and from Alishan is approx 3 hrs. It’s also hard to sleep since you will cross many zigzag roads.

The Bitou Cape Trail offers an incredibly scenic hike with stunning coastal views, and its cliffside paths feel both dramatic and romantic. At Bitou Fishing Harbor, you can relax and grab a bite, but a short drive to the colorful Zhengbin Fishing Harbor offers a beautiful backdrop for photos, especially with its iconic painted houses. You'll find a different kind of coastal beauty at Heping Island Park, with its unique rock formations and tranquil atmosphere perfect for a leisurely stroll together. Finally, wrap up your day at the lively Keelung Miaokou Night Market for a delicious feast of fresh seafood and local delicacies, a perfect way to experience Taiwan's food scene. This combination of trails, charming harbors, and a bustling night market makes for a truly memorable trip for two.

Our tour guide Sophie was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, she made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She gave clear instructions, shared fun facts about each destination, and even helped us find the best photo spots. The Zhongshe Flower Market was breathtaking, and Gaomei Wetlands at sunset was magical—but what really made this trip unforgettable was Sophie. She guided us with so much patience, gave us the history behind each stop, and even knew the best angles for photos. Thanks to her, we didn’t just see the places, we experienced them fully.

Our day tour with Mr. Black was such a wonderful experience! He was super friendly, approachable, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the trip. You can really tell he’s very knowledgeable! He shared a lot of interesting facts and stories that made each stop more meaningful. He was also very organized and made sure the whole tour went smoothly without feeling rushed. This Yehliu, Jiufen, and Shifen day tour was absolutely worth it. Overall, the itinerary was well-balanced, and every stop had its own unique charm. Highly recommend this day tour to anyone visiting Taiwan!

It was a whole day tour and very productive. Peter (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable, attentive, and entertaining. He brought us to nice places and even assisted for pictures. If you see a tour guide holding up a stick with Pikachu hanging, that’s probably him! ❣️

This Alishan tour was one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip. The journey was smooth and well-organized, making it easy to enjoy the stunning and magical scenery. The trip was made even better by our bubbly and patient tour guide, Ms. Alicia. She even offered to take pictures and assisted us in ordering our lunch. She also made an effort to give information about the places we've been to.
This trip is highly recommended!

Maybe it was a hidden gem, or maybe it was because it was a weekday, but there were only 7 customers in total. We went by family car instead of bus. The first place we went to, Bitoujiao Park, involved walking up a lot of stairs, and since it was the middle of summer, it was quite a workout! (laughs) You'll be walking for 2 hours! I recommend bringing plenty of water. If you're worried about sweating, you might want to bring a change of clothes. However, there are rest areas in various places, and the breeze is cool and pleasant, so it was relaxing to enjoy the view. Luckily, it was sunny, so the scenery was amazing and I took a lot of great pictures. It was worth the walk. We had lunch at Keelung Fishing Port. The Colorful Houses are, as the name suggests, a very Instagrammable spot! I immediately uploaded them to Instagram. For lunch, we chose an Italian restaurant that used seafood. It was a bit pricey, but it was very delicious and satisfying. Right next door were two shaved ice shops. We didn't have time to eat at both, so quick action is important here! Finally, we went to the night market. We arrived before 4:00 PM, so some of the shops were not yet open, but after a while, it gradually became lively. I recommend having a light lunch and enjoying the night market. Because there were only a few of us, we were able to chat with our guide, Wang, and the other customers, making it a very homey tour. Highly recommended!
