Things to do in Wanli District

Start at Yehliu Geopark early in the day to avoid the busiest tour groups and get better light for photos of the Queen's Head and other formations. Continue to Guihou Fishing Harbor or nearby seafood restaurants for a coastal meal, then add a hot spring stop in the Jinshan-Wanli area. Families may consider Yehliu Ocean World if they want an extra activity near the geopark, while scenery-focused travelers can follow the North Coast toward Keelung, Jinshan, or Tamsui. Wanli is commonly visited on guided North Coast tours from Taipei that also include Jiufen, Shifen, or Keelung. Bring sun protection and check wind conditions, as the coastal park has limited shade in exposed sections.
