    COVID-19 Precautionary Measures At Aquaria KLCC

    Are you excited to visit Petrosains, but still worried for your safety there due to the ongoing pandemic? Well, worry not! Petrosains has established clear safety and hygiene precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all visitors.
    • All visitors are required to wear a face mask at all times inside the Petrosains premises.
    • A temperature screening will be carried out at the entrance.
    • All visitors would be required to complete a travel and health declaration form through QR code prior to entering.
    • Visitors must observe and maintain social distancing of 1–2 metres apart.
    • Hand sanitisers are available for usage and are placed at various areas throughout the centre.
    • Frequent cleaning and sanitisation of all areas with regular contacts, including exhibits.
    • Dedicated and labelled bins are placed around the exhibit areas for visitors to dispose of used face masks or gloves.
    • Each gallery area will have a limited visitor capacity to avoid crowding.
    Remember to bring yourself and your mask, and you’ll be good to go!

    The standard opening hours at Petrosains are as follows:

    Monday

    Tuesday - Friday

    Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays and School Holidays (except those that fall on Mondays)

    CLOSED

    11.00AM - 4.00PM (Last admission: 2.30PM)

    9.30AM - 5.30PM (Last admission: 4.00PM)

    Do also note that Petrosains operates on a time ticketing system where visiting slots will be limited depending on availability of time slots to ensure the safety and convenience of visitors. There is a maximum number of visitors allowed entry per slot and an allocated 7 slots each day.
    The best time to plan for an outing at Petrosains would definitely be on off-peak days, which are usually the weekdays. Chances of smaller visiting crowds are higher on weekdays, so that means you can likely try out and explore each exhibit with more privacy and less waiting time!

    How To Get To Petrosains

    Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), Petrosains is situated on Level 4 of the Suria KLCC shopping mall. If you’re planning to drive here, you can easily park in the mall and head all the way up to the science centre. 
    Alternatively, you could opt to park at Avenue K shopping mall (accessible via an underground pedestrian tunnel) or Pavilion shopping mall (accessible via a covered link bridge), and walk over to Suria KLCC. If you prefer public transport, you can take the LRT straight to KLCC LRT station (KJ10), which is an easy 3-minute walk into the mall via an underground pedestrian tunnel as well.

    Petrosains tickets are priced at RM18.50 for adults and RM7.50 for children when you make your purchase over the counter, but you can enjoy 8% off your tickets when you buy your tickets online on Klook!
