Looking at the panels of the manga brought all the memories back vividly! Visiting the exhibition on a weekday evening was a wonderful experience; it was relaxing and comfortable, allowing me to take my time and truly savor the details.
I went on the very last day of the exhibition. The crowds were sparse, and it was wonderful to be able to quietly enjoy the original artwork. The flow of the exhibition was well-planned, the space was ample, and there were many large-format original works on display. It is truly worth a visit.
A great-value exhibition experience. Since I went on a weekday, there was no waiting in line, and I had plenty of time to explore and take all the photos I wanted.
I went there right before closing time and there wasn't a single person around. Not bad at all. E-ticket redemption was very fast, but it's a bit sad that the postcard and bookmark I received weren't the ones I wanted. The only pity is that since I went alone, I couldn't take pictures of myself in the interactive scenes.
At the end of the long weekend, I went to experience the Rurouni Kenshin exhibition. It faithfully recreated many classic scenes from the manga, bringing back the emotional intensity of the battles against Shishio's faction. There is also related merchandise available. Fans of this work should definitely check it out for a touch of nostalgia.
Better than expected! I didn't think Taiwan would still have a chance to host this, especially since it's been exhibited in Japan for so long. Thank you to the organizers and co-organizers!
Personally, I feel the space is a bit small, but it's still fine for taking photos and videos. The exhibition mostly consists of graphics and patterns, and not all characters are introduced—it feels only partial.
I was initially worried it would be an animation exhibit, but thankfully it was all original manga artwork. It brought back so many memories, making me want to reread the manga. They were even selling the complete editions there, but I already own both the first and complete editions, haha. There was a lot of merchandise, and the designs were quite nice.
A very moving exhibition; I hope it can be held again next time!
Rurouni Kenshin is a work I really enjoy. Whether it's the manga, anime, or live-action movies, they're all high quality. The display of original manuscripts and the way the story is presented are also excellent.
