G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION : Ubermensch in Taipei

Experiencing the immersive audio-visual charm in person is fantastic. I feel that X Reality Lab's exhibition space has a truly great immersive effect. Even without a live tour guide (which isn't really necessary), all the guests at the session can freely watch and take pictures from different corners. Thanks to the friends who attended previously, because of you, the process for subsequent participants was smoother. Also, thank you to the staff on-site for your assistance and hard work. At least during my visit, everyone was very kind, friendly, and actively guiding. Even if you can't get enough of the VR experience, the holographic shooting challenges your comfort zone, and the merchandise keeps you in a state of anticipation, waiting, and fear of disappointment, isn't it rewarding to have the opportunity to visit and get closer to what you love? Of course, there are areas for improvement and adjustment. I hope the organizers will actively address all the issues and use them as a reference for future similar events, so that more truly passionate friends can happily participate and feel it's truly worth the ticket price.

A lot of people say this exhibit isn't much, but I thought it was great! The projected lighting was beautiful, and there was G-Dragon everywhere 😂. Seeing the props from his MV shoots on display was also really cute, but the VR experience was the most amazing thing by far. OMG, he was so close! 😂😂😂 It felt like GD was really dancing right in front of you, and he was super close! Some of his dance moves almost put him right in your face 😂. For fans who really love G-Dragon, this experience is truly healing! If any introverts (I people) are going alone, don't be too shy. You might find another introvert who's also there by themselves. Trust me, you might end up becoming two extraverts haha hahaha. I had so much fun taking pictures, and I even met some other fans, which was awesome! 🥳 Just my personal thoughts, for reference!

【2025 #GDRAGON Exhibition Visit Guide】 📍Exhibition Name: G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION : Übermensch 📍Location: Taipei 101 (1F Merchandise Area & 5F Main Exhibition Area) 🔸 1F Merchandise Area Visit Guide (My session was at 14:00) ✔️ Officially recommended to arrive 15 minutes early, but you can actually arrive earlier to ask if you can line up earlier. ✔️ You will receive a merchandise list DM to check off items as you get closer to the entrance. 　▪️ For the same item, you can only choose one color out of the two available. 　▪️ It is recommended to bring your own pen (the number provided on-site is limited). ✔️ Staff will hand out a piece of white paper to fill in your name, phone number, and address for subsequent delivery. ✔️ You need to verify your ID card + QR Code to enter. ✔️ You can only look at the merchandise in the exhibition area, not touch it, so it is recommended to decide what you want to buy in advance! 🔸 5F Main Exhibition Area Visit Guide (My session was at 18:00) ✔️ Similarly, it is recommended to arrive 15 minutes early, but you can actually come earlier and possibly line up earlier. ✔️ Exhibition entrance: Enter to the left of the Taipei 101 Observatory and then turn left. ✔️ Before entering, there is a GD commercial video playing on the screen (after the Double Monthly ad), so pay attention to the time if you want to film it. ✔️ Verify your ID card + QR Code, and you will also receive a LOGO card (I got purple). ✔️ There is also a daisy advertisement playing while queuing, also after the Double Monthly ad. 🔸 Main Exhibition Highlights Reminder 🎥 Projection Area: GD images will be played at the beginning, it is recommended to stand on the right side so you don't block the viewers behind. 🕶️ VR Experience: GD dances up close! (Filming is prohibited in this area!) 　▪️ If the VR has no picture, raise your hand to inform the staff. 　▪️ Tip: Cover your ears with your hands, the sound effects will be more shocking! Even though there are always various issues and opinions surrounding exhibitions in Taipei, I feel grateful and happy to see G-Dragon's exhibition in my own country! When I went on the second day, July 18th, entering the venue and lining up for merchandise were much smoother. The staff was also actively addressing everyone's concerns, and the merchandise line was very orderly. They've also switched to a full reservation system for merchandise, and I think the organizer and 101 have done their best. Thank you for bringing the GD exhibition to Taiwan. I recommend that all GD lovers still go and check it out! ❤️❤️

Even though I couldn't get concert tickets because it's a FAM event, I'm really happy to see the exhibition in Taiwan ❤️. I'm so grateful to the FAM members who bravely spoke out on the first day, preventing the exhibition from completely ruining G-Dragon's intentions 🙏. Although many people criticized the content of the exhibition, at least as a fan, I had a great time taking pictures~ For me, having an exhibition where I can immerse myself in GD's music world is really satisfying ❤️.

A portion of the Taiwan Md Pavilion is quite small. The VR experience and photo opportunities are in the same area, making the allocated time insufficient. The space is also cramped, so I didn't stay long and didn't take many photos. Some of the photo spots are located outside the Md store, making it feel like anyone passing by can line up for a photo. As a ticket holder, I found it strange that I had to queue with people who didn't purchase tickets! However, the projection room was excellent—large, comfortable, and unique. The photos taken there turned out great. I took my time to appreciate the unique design and thoughtfulness of each segment. It was a memorable experience.

Maybe because I went in without high expectations, I actually didn't think it was as bad as I imagined. The real highlight was the VR experience. It was my first time experiencing it, and it felt like GD was really dancing right in front of me. I could see his eyeshadow and even his fine lines so clearly, it felt like he was so close I was going to bump into him. The second experience area was definitely weaker, but the effect of the GD hologram combined with the entire venue can only be truly appreciated in person. The exhibition only has two areas, and my first reaction after seeing it was, "That's it?" Next was the line for merchandise. My time slot was 3:00 PM, and the flow was pretty smooth. I lined up from the entrance, and all the merchandise was still available for pre-order. The big gift package that I pre-ordered online could be combined with the merchandise I bought on-site to reach 7888, which meant I got extra bonus cards. The holographic video is really awkward for introverts, but since it was a rare opportunity, I still took a video, even though there were some minor glitches. But overall, it was pretty good.

Even though the official light stick and plant pot were sold out by August 9th, seeing the VR experience with the disability ticket price was a great value! 🥹 Thank you to the oppa for bringing the exhibition to Taiwan. Although many people were dissatisfied in the first few days, the experience later on was really not bad. I hope GD will hold another exhibition in Taiwan in the future! 😊

Not a GD fan, but very enjoy this exhibition. It was fun, I am immersed in the GD' world during the visiting.

After seeing three GD exhibitions in Tokyo, I came back to Taiwan and compared them. I felt that the venue in Taiwan was smaller, with fewer things to see and not as many places to take pictures. However, the VR experience was really good😌. And I'm still very satisfied to see GD's mood👍🏻.
