Things to do in Kamakurakōkō-Mae Station

it was a blast! Originally I was planning to do a separate Hakone and Mt. Fuji trip and was genuinely excited when there was a 2 in 1 tour. Our tour guide (Jack) offered a lot of trivia and tips for our Japan trip and is highly recommended. Thank you for a memorable birthday, Gogoday.

I highly recommend the Enoshima course in Kamakura, a place recently rumored to have beautiful scenery on social media. Although it was a day of heavy rain, June Park kindly led us precisely on time, ensuring we weren't inconvenienced by the weather, making our day incredibly fulfilling. I'd love to visit again on a day with good weather. If you want to create wonderful memories in Japan, a visit to Kamakura will surely fill your trip with charming experiences. This time, I arranged a day trip to Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and the overall experience is truly worth sharing! ✨ It takes about 2 hours to get there from Tokyo, and the scenery along the way transforms from urban to mountainous, which is very therapeutic. Toshogu Shrine itself was even more magnificent than I imagined, especially the intricate details of the "Sleeping Cat" and "Three Wise Monkeys" carvings. You can truly feel the impact of history and craftsmanship. The grounds are quite extensive, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. It takes about 2–3 hours to explore at a leisurely pace. The cedar forests along the path are spectacular, and the air is fresh. The overall atmosphere has a solemn yet peaceful feel. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends, so you might have to wait a bit to take photos. I suggest arriving early to avoid the crowds for a more pleasant experience. Overall, Nikko Toshogu Shrine is not just a tourist attraction; it's more like an immersive cultural and historical experience. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Japan for the first time or those who appreciate historical architecture. 👍

Great day tour experience to Kamakura. The day tour was by Gogoday Travel, quite a big tour company with many groups gathering at the same time so watch out for the flag number and check in with the guide holding the flag. they will email you the day before to provide the meeting details and contacts like WhatsApp, Line. The bus was big and seats were comfortable. Our guide Alex was excellent, he is fluent in both English and Mandarin and always provide the information in both languages. He was reassuring and generous in his assistance throughout the trip. The weather was good although it was a little hot from the walking and we couldn't see Mt Fuji from Enoshima island. the duration was good so that we were back in Shinjuku by 5.30pm. For those who prefer front seats in bus, select priority seats with a bit more fees.

Omgosh! This was a long drive, but Mr. Jhon was amazing. We had a random stop for Potty Break and found some unique snacks. Hakone is so beautiful and green in June. The weather was perfect and we saw Mt. Fuji so many times.

Kento was a funny and great guide to have for our day trip to Kakamura + Enoshima Island. He made sure to get us to where we needed to be on time and explained it perfectly to make it seamless as possible. He recommended some great spots for us to try at each place. I was rebooked with the Kamakura day tour without Yokohama night view due to availability. so this review is for our tour guide Allen with gogoday which is the provider’s name. Allen is attentive and explains the interinery well. He is funny at times and tries to make us relax. he provides recommendations for food and places of interests, and shared his own experiences. our bus driver is professional. overall I had f good time and will recommend.
