Kamakura

Travelled as a family with 2 adult sons. There were about 16 members in our group and we rode a Toyota coaster which felt a little cramped. Our tour guide was William and he did very well speaking in Chinese and English. At Lake Kawaguchi you have to select if you want the cable car or ship ride. We got both tickets but there was no more time left for the boat ride. At Mt. Fuji 5th station and Owakudani it was very cold and windy. At Lake Ashi we opted for a picture at the torii which had a long queue, instead of hiking to the shrines. The Shuzenji Resort hotel dinner and breakfast was filling with a variety of delicious japanese food, we had a good night's sleep, especially after bathing at the onsen. Were not able to do "Matcha Mountain" but were taken to another park which was our favorite part of the tour because the view & atmosphere was very serene, a less touristy spot. At Enoshima we had a good lunch at our expense, William led us walking and then riding the train to Kamakura.

Our Mt. Fuji day tour guide, Hou Jing, and our Kamakura day tour guide, Lin Yan, were fantastic; they shared historical insights while we enjoyed the scenery from the vehicle. Naturally, day tours tend to be a bit tightly scheduled, so a whirlwind tour is to be expected, but the guides were always willing to help take photos, and their photography skills were amazing! Highly recommended overall.

I booked the tour package for 3 people for myself and my younger sibling. The meeting point was clear and easy to find. The night before the tour, you’ll receive a reminder email with a more detailed itinerary. My tour guide was Peter, and he was very kind and attentive. He always made sure no one in the group was left behind and explained everything clearly. The whole trip was so enjoyable, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my Japan trip! Although I didn’t get to spend much time on Komachi Street due to the limited time, the tour was definitely worth it. Highly recommended! it would be great if klook can give more discount 🤘😝🤘

We had a wonderful tour with our guide Wanting! She spoke four different languages (Japanese, French, Chinese, and English), which made understanding everything much easier. Wanting showed us marvelous landscapes, and the tour schedule was strictly followed. I want to highlight her professionalism from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour.

Several tours departed from the Shinjuku L-Tower. The Kamakura and Yokohama tour was led by guide Oh Sang-jun, and we traveled quite comfortably in a large bus with plenty of seating space. Guide Oh Sang-jun provided detailed guidance and explanations, and sent us information via KakaoTalk in advance, making it very convenient to explore each destination without any hassle. We really appreciated his kindness in taking photos for everyone at every photo spot. It was also nice that we could have light snacks on the bus, ride the Enoden train from Kamakura to Enoshima, and take pictures at various scenic spots along the way.

Thank you, Jack, for leading our group on a tour of Kamakura and Enoshima on October 1, 2026. Since we had 30 friends participating, I was the one who booked the tickets for everyone. We were truly lucky, as it was the very first clear day after 34 consecutive days of rain in Tokyo and Kamakura, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! This itinerary involves walking about 20,000 steps. Our schedule went very smoothly that day, and we managed to visit every spot: Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the Kamakura Great Buddha, riding the Enoden train, visiting Enoshima, and even stopping by the Slam Dunk railway crossing. Thank you, Jack, for recommending the restaurant on Enoshima Island, which gave us a chance to rest and enjoy lunch. In addition, a small group of us followed your recommendation and went up the observation tower to take in the stunning views! Because the weather was so clear, we even got to see Mount Fuji! It was amazing! The only thing is that we had a few elderly members over the age of 70 in our group, and this itinerary required them to walk a bit too much. If older travelers are not quite up for a lot of walking, this tour might not be suitable for them. However, for those who can handle the pace, this itinerary is fantastic and very fulfilling!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was so lucky to have Zoe/Xiao Wang as our tour guide for the Atami Fireworks Day Tour! What impressed me most about the entire trip was her excellent management of time and group order. Her explanations of the attractions were clear, and she thoroughly covered all important details. She also managed every meeting time perfectly, allowing the entire itinerary to proceed smoothly as planned. I particularly appreciate her "gentle but principled" approach to leading the group. When she needed to remind group members, she always maintained a soft demeanor but firmly insisted that everyone adhere to the schedule and group rules. I believe a good tour guide isn't necessarily about providing excessive service, but rather about clearly communicating what needs to be said and effectively managing what needs to be controlled, allowing travelers to enjoy their journey with peace of mind. Great experience! I had been looking around for a trip like this. There were several choices but I’m glad I booked this one last minute. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable about each temple. He spoke both English and Mandarin, which was a plus for me since some terms are easily understood in Mandarin more so than English. The views for each stop were breathtaking! The photos don’t do justice. I was also lucky to be in a group of punctual people. No time wasted on waitling for fellow tourists.
