very nicely timed trip. went to Nara and Kyoto on a day trip to cover several activities and sight seeing. be sure to do deer feeding, eat some delicious Wagyu bowl and Arabia coffee at Arashima. guide was proactive and friendly!

(Departure from Osaka) Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I booked this tour because I wanted to spend a fulfilling day traveling alone, and it exceeded my expectations! The biggest attraction was that I could visit the key attractions of Kyoto and Nara in just one day. 👍 What I liked: Perfect itinerary and time allocation: The time allocation was really good, allowing enough time to explore each place, including Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Nara Park. In particular, at Fushimi Inari Shrine, they even told us about the best photo spots, so I was able to take a lot of amazing pictures! Kind and professional Guide 'Chu Hong' is the best! Guide Chu Hong is the one who increased the satisfaction of this tour by 5 times. Beyond simply guiding the place, he constantly told us fascinating stories about Japanese history and culture throughout the journey. There was no time to be bored, and the in-depth explanations about buildings and origins that I might have missed made the tourist attractions feel even more special. Attentive care: I was touched by the way they took care of each and every participant, approaching me first as I was alone, taking pictures, and providing necessary information (restrooms, restaurant tips, etc.) in advance. 🦌 I made good memories with the deer in Nara Park, and every moment is memorable, from the grandeur of Kiyomizu-dera Temple to the red torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine. If you want to experience the essential courses of Kyoto and Nara efficiently and enjoyably in one day, I highly recommend this tour. In particular, you will have a wonderful day with Guide Chu Hong! I recommend this trip for those with limited time during their Osaka visit. It’s a wonderful way to see three popular tourist spots in just one day. We started from Dotonburi at 8am and returned around 6:30pm. You’ll get about 2 hours to explore the Arashiyama area, 1 hour in Nara, and over an hour at Fushimi Inari Shrine. Just a heads-up: be punctual so you don’t miss the tour, which leaves without you if you're late. Be sure to plan your day wisely. We managed to squeeze in a quick lunch in Arashiyama since there wouldn’t be time to eat at the other spots.

I had a really memorable day thanks to our guide. We visited Nara, Uji, and Fushimi Inari, and the whole trip was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. She has a very cool and confident vibe — short hair, a relaxed style, and a calm, clear way of speaking. She can switch between Japanese, Mandarin, and English effortlessly, which made everything so easy and natural. Her explanations were simple and vivid, not boring at all, and she shared small details that made each place feel alive. I also really appreciated her respectful and open personality. She didn’t try to perform or push anything — she just let the experience breathe, which made the day feel genuine and relaxed. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, chill, and really knows how to guide without being overbearing, I’d definitely recommend her. Great energy, great pace, great company.

We enjoyed our Nara & Kyoto day tour so much. The shabu shabu was delicious and the spots they bring us to visit are all fantastic spots, not just great for photo taking but also to enjoy as a family. We had 2 guides in he bus which is great. Both Paulo and Mr Liu are great guides and explained the history of each places well. Overall is great and highly recommend.

Our tour guide was Tina, and she did an excellent job showing us around and guiding us. She gave a brief overview and lessons of the places before we arrived which was very nice and informative. She provided clear and detailed instructions for how to navigate each site and even walked us to certain spots to give further options for us. Did this all while giving humor and laughs the entire day, highly recommend!

Had such a great time on the Nara & Kyoto day trip! The timing was really good and didn’t feel rushed at all. Jack explained everything clearly in both English and Mandarin. Loved the cute deers in Nara and the beautiful temples in Kyoto. Really fun, relaxing, and definitely worth it!

Absolutely loved our Day 3 tour from Osaka to Nara & Uji! 🦌✨ Visiting Nara Park, Tōdaiji Temple, and Byōdōin Temple was breathtaking — the temples are stunning, and the deer in Nara Park are so adorable and friendly. 🏯💛 The Uji matcha food tour was a highlight — every treat was delicious, and the matcha desserts were unforgettable! 🍵💚 The day was perfectly balanced with sightseeing, culture, and foodie adventures. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a mix of history, nature, and yummy Japanese treats — we had so much fun and made memories to last a lifetime! 🌟

It was a wonderful visit. The meeting point was easy to reach, the driver drove safely, and the guide was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Christmas park is beautiful, but the Great Buddha is even more so.
