Sapa Hiking

We had a fantastic day trekking through the beautiful rice terraces and local villages. It was such a lovely experience to see how the local people live, learn about their traditions and culture, and experience their everyday way of life. Our tour guide, Doa, was absolutely fantastic! She was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about sharing stories of the local people, their families and how they live. She made the whole experience even more special and interesting. The scenery was breathtaking, and it was wonderful to experience the real beauty of the countryside and village life. A truly memorable day and one of the highlights of our trip. We would highly recommend this trek, especially with Doa as your guide! ❤️

It's a fun and memorable experience. Our tour guide Pam is very accommodating and approachable. A tour with additional learning on how they stitch & dye clothes was a great experience! Having a chance to experience the Vietnamese culture and traditional clothing was the best part of the tour. Also, the rainbow ride and trekking for me was fun. If there's a chance you can ask for a tour guide, consider Pam, she's kind and super friendly!

I really loved trekking through all the 3 villages. It was a great day and the tour guide was very informative. It takes roughly 4 hours all together. This tour is intermediate level, especially at the beginning, then it becomes easier. If you have sore knees or are not used to walk 10k, it can be challenging because the road is going all the way down. On the way back you will use the taxi to the centre. Beautiful views of the valley and rivers.

Everything was perfect, and we could understand and learn more about the city. The tour guide explained everything so well, showing the most important aspects of the city. I am so grateful for the full experience and dinner afterward, as well as for the care and attention provided.

scenery: Awesome, going through the paddy and corn fields, Village to village. We are lucky some lady is working on her paddy field so I have good shot. difficulty of the hike: Easy hike but the downhill is actually quite steep. Our hiking day is shine bright but not freaking hot. Track is dry, not muddy so it was easy. It surely will be slippery downhill if it's muddy guide: Different guide texted night before and another texted me in the morning. They change our guide but both of them is friendly and easy to communicate. itinerary: We take this so no need to go find lunch after coming back. And food is simple but good. mostly vegetarian, and only chicken. Drinks is separate but the price is cheap and reasonable. The only things I'm a bit annoyed is how persistent the village kids/lady trying to sell things. Try help a bit and 10more coming. Nego until satisfied coz their opening price is scam. I bought from the lady that help me during hike, consider as her tips so it's fine.

We had an insightful and enjoyable time trekking through the 2 villages. Our tour guide, Vhin was knowledgeable, explained a lot of history, customs and traditions. We saw lots of animals, villagers, fruits and vegetables along the trek. beginner friendly too, as long you are okay to walk 3hrs plus.

The Sapa Red Dao Herbal Trekking Tour was an amazing experience! The scenery along the way, with its terraced rice fields, streams, and waterfalls, was picturesque and truly unforgettable. Our tour guide, May, was very attentive; whenever we got tired from climbing, she would stop and explain the medicinal herbs along the trail, giving us a deep understanding of the traditional herbal culture of the Red Dao people. The herbal foot soak at the end was the finishing touch and was super relaxing and therapeutic. Highly recommended for friends who love hiking and want to experience the local culture and customs.
