We had a pleasant stay at Especen Hotel in Hanoi. The location is excellent, right in the Old Quarter and just a short walk from St. Joseph’s Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and attractions nearby. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little older, but considering the affordable price and fantastic location, it offers good value for money. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator, so be prepared to use the stairs if your room is on a higher floor. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Especen Hotel, especially for travelers who want to stay in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter without spending too much.

The hotel is within old quarter near or walking distance to some spots and recommended restos. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. They also offer transfers going to airport. The room is clean, functioning AC, they clean the room everyday, provided new towel and toiletries everyday. Breakfast is also included. wifi sometimes got slow but its ok. Overall it is highly recommended, and definitely will book here again soon.

Cleanliness: The room was spotless upon arrival, and the housekeeping team did a great job maintaining it throughout my stay. Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process seamless. Transport access: Excellent. There are public transport links within a short walking distance, making it convenient to explore the city. Breakfast: A great variety of options were available. Everything was fresh and delicious—a perfect way to start the day!

The staff at Le Parfum Appartments were so helpful to us and made our stay a happy one. There wasn’t much in the kitchen like plates and utensils but that didn’t matter to us as there are many nearby restaurants and street food venders. We also enjoyed going to the roof top cafe every day.
