We had a pleasant stay at Especen Hotel in Hanoi. The location is excellent, right in the Old Quarter and just a short walk from St. Joseph’s Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and attractions nearby. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little older, but considering the affordable price and fantastic location, it offers good value for money. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator, so be prepared to use the stairs if your room is on a higher floor. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Especen Hotel, especially for travelers who want to stay in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter without spending too much.

The staff at Le Parfum Appartments were so helpful to us and made our stay a happy one. There wasn’t much in the kitchen like plates and utensils but that didn’t matter to us as there are many nearby restaurants and street food venders. We also enjoyed going to the roof top cafe every day.

Staff was very attentive. Shoutout to Linda who took care of us and helped us switch rooms when our A/C stopped working. She definitely was super nice. Thanks to her for making our stay pleasant.

Had a great stay at Hanoi Lane Homestay! The location is perfect and right at the heart of the Old Quarters, making it very accessible and within walking distance of so many tourist spots, cafes, and stores.
If you enjoy nightlife, the party area is literally just outside the street, which is super convenient. But what I really appreciated was that once inside the room, you could barely hear the music, so it was still peaceful enough to rest comfortably.
The host and staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and welcoming throughout our stay. They can also understand and communicate in English well, which made everything much easier. Another plus is that they allow you to leave your luggage even after check-out—you just need to inform them what time you’ll be coming back for it.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a convenient, comfortable, and hospitable stay in Hanoi!

Located within the old quarter—just a fee steps from the beer street and a few local shops. There’s also Circle K convenience store nearby.
