Transport in Rome

Got ourselves a 7-day Global Pass and travelled through 5 countries. Buying the pass was easy but how to use the app for activating the pass will need some time to learn. However, fear not as there are many experienced people out willing to share. Do some readings and join some fb travel groups and you will surprised by the information available. The pass was flexible but the train schedule can be unpredictable which means you need to be updated requently to stay on course of your journey. We only experienced one hicccup on one of the trips at Berlin due to seat reservation issue and missing the connecting train due to delay of the first train. The other trips were as planned.

It's right at the airport! The terminal is easy to find, and you can use the QR code to board the bus directly to Roma Termini Station. It's not a direct route, so I think it stopped maybe twice, but Termini Station was the last stop! Looking at the schedule, it seems to run until dawn. We arrived around 4 PM in the evening and used it without any problems! I would use it again if I go back! The price is cheaper compared to the train, and I'm satisfied!

The Trenitalia Pass was simple to use and it’s suitable for first time tourist to use. However, it’s a little bit expensive, but for the convenience sake. Do note that you will need to plan your route and journey in advance so that you can reserve your seats.

Every 20 minutes departing from central train station to the airport. arrived without an hour. no traffic jam even during the peak hours

Easy to avail, easy to check the station near Termini. Better to be early so you can get a more comfortable seat. The trip is about an hour long, but it’s better than to transfer trains and buses, especially when you shop a lot.

Great time and saved a lot. Airport is far from the main city, hence, better to book a shared transport to the city and my hotel is walkable from Rome Termini. Thanks and I booked return ticket.

We were early, but everything was in accordance with our ticket. Departure on time with a setup 20 minutes earlier to be sure not to forget anyone. The price is very reasonable and the bus just as comfortable. It took us about twenty minutes to get to the airport and we were able to reach terminal 1 without stress. I highly recommend it.

The bus from Ciampino Airport runs about once an hour, so you can probably just buy a ticket on the spot when you arrive. The bus driver got into an accident on the way to the station, which made us about 15 minutes late and it was frustrating.
