The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and friendly, and the room itself was acceptable for the price. However, upon checking in, we encountered the following unexpected issues: 1. The hotel is located down a narrow path, and the last section is only accessible by scooter. Fortunately, when our airport transfer car arrived near the hotel, the driver helped us contact the hotel staff to pick us up. 2. The room's facilities were a bit old; there were cracks in the door and window glass, stains on the top of the bed canopy, and the bathroom drain was slow and seemed to emit an odor. 3. We were most looking forward to the pool, but we didn't dare to swim because the walls were covered in moss. 4. The bathroom water quality was poor; the filter in our personal shower head became quite dirty after three days of use. Thankfully, for safety, we used bottled water for washing our faces and brushing our teeth.

Our family of three had a very pleasant one-night stay at this property. We booked a quad room, which was spacious and included a balcony, making for a quiet and comfortable experience overall. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Sacred Monkey Forest. For visiting the palace area, we recommend taking a taxi or walking after sunset, as it can be quite hot during the day. Nearby, there's a Coco Supermarket for convenient and affordable shopping, as well as several popular restaurants worth exploring.

We had a wonderful time here in Kakul Villas. The staffs are very accommodating, friendly, and top notch service! The room is spacious and clean. They have a nice pool too with floating breakfast. We will definitely go back here. Thank you to the staffs who assisted us.

Our stay was unfortunately very disappointing. I sincerely hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness of the hotel. The room had a strong drainage/sewage smell that made our stay very uncomfortable. Another issue was that only one towel was provided for two guests. I was staying with my husband, so it was surprising that we were expected to share a single towel. The lack of a 24-hour reception also created a major problem. At night, only security guards were available, and they were unable to speak or understand English. When we encountered issues with our room, there was no one from the hotel who could help. We ended up having to leave and look for another accommodation in the middle of the night, during heavy rain. Overall, this was a very stressful experience. I hope the hotel improves its cleanliness, provides basic amenities for all registered guests, and ensures that someone is available at all hours to assist guests with urgent concerns.

This is the top choice for visiting Bali Zoo. You can walk to the zoo, and there are unlimited entries with no time restrictions. What no other platform clearly states is that all room types and bookings include tickets; as long as you're a guest, you receive a wristband. Also, you can pay extra to have one more person stay in the room, and the sofa bed can accommodate an additional person. The breakfast is very generous; you can take your time eating and getting food without rushing. On the day I checked in, the guests were very international. Only tourists from a couple of specific countries were observed rushing for food, being noisy, moving chairs around, and generally creating a mess. Everyone else should take note. The restaurant staff were all very friendly and had a tough job. We felt the team's warmth from check-in. Throughout our stay, they always addressed us by name and introduced themselves, showing great professionalism. Dewi handled our check-in, and Ayu arranged our services. Both were incredibly nice and ensured we received the best service, though other team members were also very attentive.

Hotel was good but not satisfied with the booking. I booked premium room paid extra money for garden facing room but didn’t get the room for what I paid for.
